Introduction
I love the Quell franchise, and I felt like it was high time for someone to create a unified location for all the levels that can be solved "Better Than Perfect".

I didn't just want to make this because of the "Better Than Us" achievement. I mainly did it because of the interesting solutions that spring up when testing the limits of what you can do in these games.

Enjoy! <W<

A Cold Heart, Stage 3, Level 1, "Separate Ways"
  • instead of 22, it's possible in 20 moves
  • screenshot of what the level looks like:

  • hint 1:
speed and/or timing and/or dexterity is required
  • hint 2:
water droplets can block the momentum of certain blocks, and vice versa
  • full solution:
    starting positions droplets:
    water drop 1: lower left
    water drop 2: upper middle
    -
1: left, up, right, down, right, down
2: right, up, right, down AND immediately-
1: left (timed so that the male gender block is blocked from getting to the female gender block due to the droplet's interfering path), then up, right, up
2: right, down, left, down, right, up

  • +solution video I found on YouTube
Positive Energy, Stage 4, Level 4, "Cargo"
  • instead of 17, it's possible in 14 moves
  • screenshot of what the level looks like:

  • hint 1:
    almost frame-perfect precision is required
  • hint 2:
this weird (borderline glitchy) solution requires using the undo button to work
  • full solution:
    starting positions droplets:
    water drop 1: right side
    water drop 2: left side
    -
2: right, down, left, down, right AND immediately-
1: FAST down, FAST right, FAST down, FAST up (so the water droplet can block the gender block and diamond block from moving all the way into the corner), then press undo AND up, repeatedly. if you timed this repetition correctly, it should space out the gender block and diamond block enough for you to move your droplet in between (though sometimes the blocks glitch into each other, so this might take quite a lot of retries to get it successfully working), then right, down, up
    2: up, left
Guiding Spirit, Stage 3, Level 1, "Chase Me"
  • instead of 13, it's possible in 5 moves
  • screenshot of what the level looks like:

  • hint 1:
    speed is key
  • hint 2:
they aren't as fast as you
  • full solution:
right, FAST down, FAST left, FAST up, FAST right (if you did it quickly enough, you'll manage to colour all the tiles blue before the orb chasing you is able to do anything about it)
  • solution video I found on YouTube
Guiding Spirit, Stage 4, Level 3, "Chain Reaction"
  • instead of 10, it's possible in 9 moves
  • screenshot of what the level looks like:

  • hint 1:
speed and/or timing and/or dexterity is required
  • hint 2:
if you're fast enough, can you avoid droplets from popping each other?
  • full solution:
    starting positions droplets:
    water drop 1: bottom left
    water drop 2: bottom right
    -
    1: right, up
2: up, up, right, down AND immediately-
1: FAST up (so that your blue water droplet just barely passes by the red water droplet, avoiding both droplets getting popped)
    2: down, up
Resolution, Secret Ring Level 1-3, "7PM"
  • this secret ring level is accessible via: Resolution, Stage 1, Level 3, "Platforms"
  • secret levels do not count to your "least amount of moves" leaderboard score
  • instead of 23, it's possible in 22 moves
  • screenshot of what the level looks like:

  • a hint:
nothing fancy, just a good old-fashioned unintentional better solution
  • full solution:
    starting positions droplets:
    water drop 1: right side
water drop 2: upper middle (touching one of the yellow diamond blocks)
    water drop 3: left side
    water drop 4: lower middle
    -
    3: right
4: left, down, up, left, up, left
    3: left, up
2: right, down, right, down, right, up, right, up
    1: left, down, left, down
    4: down
Testament, Stage 2, Level 1, "Visiting Time"
  • instead of 34, it's possible in 33 moves
  • screenshot of what the level looks like:

  • hint 1:
speed and/or timing and/or dexterity is required
  • hint 2:
water droplets can block the momentum of certain blocks, and vice versa
  • full solution:
    starting positions droplets:
water drop 1: in the middle
    water drop 2: lower right
    -
    1: right, up
2: right, up, right, up, left, down, right
1: down, left, down, right AND immediately-
2: up (timed so that the male gender block is blocked from getting to the wall due to the droplet's interfering path), then left, down, right, down, left
1: down, left, up, left, up, right, down, right, down, right, up, left, up, right

  • +solution video I found on YouTube
Testament, Stage 4, Level 3, "All In!"
  • instead of 37, it's possible in 34 moves
  • screenshot of what the level looks like:

  • hint 1:
speed and/or timing and/or dexterity is required
  • hint 2:
water droplets can block the momentum of certain blocks, and vice versa
  • hint 3:
there is a third direction you can set the switch controlling the direction of the spike
  • full solution:
    starting positions droplets:
water drop 1: in the middle
water drop 2: trapped in ice
    -
1: right, down, up, up, down, right, down, right, up, down, left, up, right, down, right, up AND immediately-
2: down (so the blue droplet stops the momentum of the block in such a way that the yellow droplet is on the switch controlling the direction of the spike)
    1: right, up
2: down, left, down, left, down, right, up, left, up, down, right, up, right
    1: down, left
