It starts a new character at level 1.
My other mod A Necromancer's Crusade starts you at Level 3.
Substantially less polished of course
Epic Encounters only supports the main campaign. D:OS mods don't combine well at all.
This mod is more of a stand alone entity with its own world and such.
It can be pretty challenging though, I designed all the combats specifically for that, none are copy/pasted. Most people report I was successful at that, perhaps too much so lol.
But there's no (easy) way to get most of the features Epic Encounters adds in this mod or any other mod.
When I say this mod is for EE I mean the Enhanced Edition. Dunamis originally was a D:OS Classic mod that I made and ported to the EE.
I'm biased of course but I think it's worth playing even if you lose out on some of those extra skills and other changes from Epic Encounters. It's the only D:OS mod to support a complete campaign with a story, branching quests, skill checks even the base game doesn't use, and a day night cycle. There's probably no D:OS 2 mod that rivals it either, though I haven't followed that scene as closely.
