This is just a simple compilation of all the Sons of Grimnir units I have created thus far. For those of you running lots of mods, hopefully this will help organize things a bit.

@Pointman I can check this claim out over the weekend. Unfortunately my daily life is keeping me busy this week.

Can you please verify the exact behavior you are seeing? Does the game CTD when you run it? Do my units not appear in campaign or skirmish mode? Have you disabled all other mods except for mine to see if it's still broken when you try to load?

Hey Buddy! This is the Warhammer 1 version of the mod. All modding efforts and updates have really gone over to WH2. Are you seeing any issues running this mod with WH1?

Since you've been a good sport, I also looked into Crynsos's mod. His Campaign Overhaul (faction unlocker) mod is totally compatible with my units, since the Karak Kadrin faction still uses the default vanilla building names. You can enable these units for custom battles by adding the following lines in my mod for each unit on the units_custom_battle_permissions_tables/dwf_sogcomp_core:

wh_main_dwf_karak_kadrin False [Insert main_unit_id] True True

I've been wanting to do a Regiment of Renown for my runegolems for some time, and a giant size unit sounded like a fun idea. But I hate the idea of editing the Startpos.esf file since so many other awesome mods rely upon it. It's still in my idea box, so I might revisit once I come back to TW modding in a few months.

I understand, thank you...changing subject...have you ever thought of adding a giant golem? like some ancestral golem hidden for thousand for years, now awaken by the mightiest rune lords in a truelly desperate and critical time?

Ah, I understand.

Unfortunately adding these units in would require a entirely separate release of the mod to maintain compatibility with Crynsos's faction unlockers, as including erroneous building release strings can cause the game to crash. So I can't package into my core release or Radious. Unfortunately I only took vanilla factions into account, as it's impossible to predict which factions would be added via mods at a later date.

This is actually a fairly easy fix if you want to create a quick and dirty custom mod using the Pack File Manager tool. All you'll need to do is modify the unit_custom_battles_permissions_tables and the building_units_allowed_tables to add a few lines corresponding to the new building/faction names and you should be good to go. This is a similar circumstance that got me into modding! So it could be fun for you to explore, and it's pretty easy to learn in a couple of hours even through trial and error.

Im sorry, i did not express myself well...if you could add these units to custom battles for karak kadrin...i use crynsos unlocker and it moves the slayer king to karak kadrin...It will be cool to have them recruitable for karak kadrin in custom battles...and thank you for your great mod
