This PvP map will be a small map with cannon warfare as the primary weapon.

Step One: Build the hull
First we will make the outline of our ship. It does not matter the size, but we will fit two in our arena

Step Two: Making it look good
Now we want to dress up our ship to make it lok nice
Adding fence in a matrix formation can make it look like a net. I've also added two columns of fence to act as masts. On top of one is a crow's nest

Step Three: adding sails and weapons
Now we will add the sails and cannons, so we can fight. One of our ships is completed

Next we need to mirror this on the other side so two ships face eachother. You can add paint to the ships to distinguish the teams. Here is my final product:
