Have you ever found your capslock being inverted when shift-tabbing out of skyrim special edition?

Skyrim Special Edition Caps Glitch
If you shift-tab in skyrim special edition you can get your caps inverted. For people with a little LED showing if caps is on or off this can be particularly annoying. Luckily, there is a fix. Simply hold shift and type a letter. After you've done that the bug should be fixed. If you type without using shift your chat will be all-caps unless you press caps and de-activate it there, activating it everywhere else and also making your caps LED light up if you have one.

Edit: The bug probably happens when the game thinks you're holding shift, effectively inverting caps and obviously fixable by updating it by pressing shift.

Change your Run/Walk toggle to an unused key like Z.

Another issue is when you are holding shift when something happens, such as running to a door and loading a new area, and you begin running without holding shift. Also if you're holding shift and an NPC forces dialogue with you, the same thing happens.

you can also press ` to open up console and press capslock. A similar effect is that if you hit TAB after shift-TABbing out, it'll open the overlay since it thinks shift is being held still.

you're right r0tara, the game thinking shift is being held down probably causes this, when people run and then press tab to chat or whatever. That would also be why pressing shift fixes it, as written above

theres 2 versions of this happening, the above and if you press caps after shift-tab then it inverts and can only fix by going into shift-tab again and pressing caps
