Interface
Lounge Editor interface consists of 3 main parts:
  • Header - Located in the top-left corner. Contains main functions, such as save, help, etc.
  • Tool List - Located on the left side. Contains all the tools available in the Editor.
  • Inspector Panel - Located on the right side. Contains all the main information about the selected tool and how to use it.

Interface also features X Y Z axis directions next to the inspector panel to help orientate around.

If you're using the Object Placement tool, an additional part appears at the bottom of the screen which is used for selecting the wanted object.

Below you can find an example of all 5 parts shown on screen.

Camera Controls
Camera control is similar to other Map Editor controls:

  • Holding Middle Mouse Button and moving mouse will pan the camera around.
  • Selecting an object and pressing F will center the camera on the object.

When you hold down the Right Mouse Button will 'unlock' the camera and will let you:
  • Move around using traditional WASD control.
  • Holding Q will make the camera go straight up.
  • Holding E will make it go straight down.
  • Holding Left Shift will accelerate all of the actions above.
Selection Tool
You select objects by pressing on an object or by holding down Left Mouse Button and making rectangular selection as seen below to select multiple objects.

After you make a selection, you can alter the object's position, rotation and scale by using special gizmos. You can select them through the inspector or by using Hotkeys: W, E, R.

You can also delete multiple objects by pressing DEL button or duplicate them by holding down CTRL and pressing D. After you do so, you can move out the new objects by using the very same gizmos.
Object Placement Tool
First, you have to select an object from the panel below, then you can spawn it in the Lounge by pressing Left Mouse Button. Additional tool functionality can be found in the Inspector description.
Paint Tool
This tool is used to paint the objects in the Lounge. Please do note that not every object can have it's color changed, for example trees.

NOTE: Don't confuse this Paint Tool with Terrain Paint Tool. These two work independantly and sometimes it's easy to get mixed up between them.
Terrain Editor Tool
This is the tool you use to change the Terrain of the Lounge.

The tool has 5 modes:
  • Raise - Used to raise the terrain height.
  • Lower - Used to lower the terrain height.
  • Smooth - Used to smooth the terrain height.
  • Clamp - Used to set the terrain height to specific value as entered in the special input field.
  • Paint - Used to paint the terrain when it's not low-poly and then turn it into low-poly. When in this mode you can press the Middle Mouse Button to act as a color picker.

Difference between Low-Poly and Non Low-Poly terrain:
Non Low-Poly terrain is the one you edit, then it is converted to Low-Poly one that is used in-game. You can toggle between these 2 terrain modes by pressing Spacebar at any time and while using any tool.
Entity Tool
This tool was added with Build 11 and is marked with a triangle.

Entities are selected with a dropdown menu on the right and then spawned using left mouse button. Their position can be altered and deleted using Selection tool.

At the moment it consists of just two entities:

Spawnpoint - It replaces older Spawnpoint tool which allowed only one spawnpoint in the map. If you have more than one spawnpoint in the map, you'll spawn at random one.

Light - Self explanatory, though wary that they are quite perfomance costly, use them wisely.

In near future there'll be more entities, one for example will be Sound entity.
FAQ

Select the objects you want to duplicate, then Left CTRL + D. Then the objects you've duplicated will spawn in same place as the selected things. You can use selection tool to move out the new objects right after doing so.

After you save a lounge it appears in the menu section "Lounges" on the right side of the screen. There you'll see all your subscribed Lounges and Saved Lounges
