Gameplay Mechanics
Welcome to my guide to Clash of Monsters. It's a work in progress, so I have only some of the characters plotted out right now, but I will get around to all of them. I'm going to start with the basic techniques and work my way up to more advanced ones. Please leave *helpful* suggestions if you have any. I'm using the keyboard commands, since I don't own a 360 controller. If anyone does and wants to tell me what the buttons are mapped to, that'd be awesome.

THE BASICS
WASD- Move around
Double tap A- dash/dodge left
Double tap D- dash/dodge right

T- left punch (P1)
Y- Right punch (P2)
G- left kick (K1)
H- right kick (K2)
U- Throw

Now, on the screen, you have 2 meters: The one on top is your health, that much should be obvious. The one on the bottom is your special attack meter. You don't use this for ALL your special attacks, but certain attacks can become more powerful if you use the "Meter" version.

Combo basics:
It took a bit for me to figure this out my first time playing, but it's not so complex when you get used to it.

Let's start with an example. If a combo says D+F+P1, that means you need to crouch, move forward, and press T in quick succession. Doing so well execute your character's special attack, at least the basic version. Most ultimate or "Meter" moves will use a throw instead, for example, D+F+Throw.

So, when it comes to combos:
F means move forward
R means move backward
D means crouch
P1 means use punch 1
P2 means use punch 2
K1 means use kick 1
K2 means use kick 2

The rest should be pretty clear once that's explained.

That's it for now. I'll be posting more about specific characters later.
How to eat people with The Living Dead
I main the Living Dead, thus far. He's a fun dude. Here's my thoughts on his gameplay style, and some tips on how to completely destroy people with him:

The Living Dead
Speed: Medium
Main attack style: Kicks and Specials
Range: Medium/Far

Start the match by using the low K2 attack a lot. Its knockdown is wonderful for the Living Dead, especially if you follow it with a bite. Be sure to use the bite right as they are getting up for maximum effect.

You may want to keep your distance, however, until you have enough meter to make those bites ultimates. The Living Dead has a pretty nice ranged attack that flies straight at your enemy, and that's great for slowing them down until you can chain up a pretty nice amount of meter.

So, to sum up:
Keep your distance and ranged attack as much as you can
If they close in enough, use K2 to knock 'em down and then ultimate bite them right as they are getting up
be sure to use dash a lot to maintain space away from your enemy.

Enjoy!
How to crush bones with Bones
I must admit, Bones is not my best. He has a lot of excellent qualities but I just can't seem to put them all together right. That said, here's what I've come up with:

Bones
Speed: Medium/Fast
Main attack type: Grabs/Specials
Range: Medium/Close

With Bones, you want to punch the enemy a few times, then grab them, throw them back, and rain a few skulls their way. He has some pretty quick punches, and can kick for a fair distance too, so combo however you see fit so long as you finish it up with a nice grab. You shouldn't have too much trouble pounding on the damage, but with the way Bones doesn't have any straight-flying ranged attacks, you need to stay at at least medium range, meaning his defensive abilities aren't as good as certain other characters' might be.

Hope this helped!
How to poke eyes out with the Invisible Man
The Invisible man is blindingly fast (haha) in melee and is just an overall wonderful close combatant. Here's my take:

The Invisible Man
Speed: Fast
Main attack type: Punches/Throws
Range: Close

The Invisible Man is clearly meant to be a whirlwind of attacks. With that in mind, close in ASAP and just attack with an insanely fast flurry of punches. Don't get cocky, though! End your combo with a throw to keep them down and under control, then dash in and just keep on breaking their nose and punching their gut (low punches are important too).

Sadly, the Invisible Man's special attack leaves something to be desired-- but it isn't without its use! If you have the meter for it, and the time, unleash it as an ultimate in close range and it will do more damage than any of your punches.

In summary:
Punchpunchpunchpunchthrow... punchpunchpunchpunchultimate,throwpunchpunchpunch.

Trying to get this guide to where it will actually show up on the Steam guides page. I don't want new players to be immediately discouraged by a certain trolly guide -_-
