Introduction

Hey everybody, this is my first guide on Steam, I hope I am able to help some of you complete the Path of the Protector quest line for the Fall 2016 Battle Pass. If I helped at all please feel free to check out my youtube channel and twitter for more Dota content!

Alms from the Poor

Spend 500 / 1250 / 2500 gold on support items.
"Support items" would include: Observer Wards, Sentry Wards, Smoke, Dust of Appearance, Courier, Gem of True Sight and Flying Courier.

Walk it off

Heal yourself and your allies for a total of 4000 / 5500 / 7000 health.
Heroes that are good for this quest would include some support heroes such as: Dazzle, Omniknight, Pugna, Oracle, Warlock and Winter Wyvern.

I know it Hurts

Deward 2 / 4 / 6 or more enemy Observer Wards.
This can be a difficult quest but Zeus is one of the easier heroes for the quest, alternativley heroes like Riki with gem of true sight might be good too.

The Enabler

Across multiple victories: Disable enemy heroes for 100 / 150 / 200 seconds.
Bane should be the easiest hero for this quest, some other good options would be Lion and Shadow Shaman. Some disabling items would include Orchid Malevolence, Bloodthorn, Eul's Scepter and Scyth of the Vyse.

Monster Farmer

Stack 3 / 6 / 9 creep camps.
Really easy quest, any hero can do this, just try to have wards or vision so you don't get killed in your own jungle. I'd reccomend pulling camps at 53 seconds.

Crutch Player

Save 1 / 2 / 3 friendly heroes from death, by preventing or healing before a lethal attack.
Dazzle is the easiest option, with his second ability being shallow grave he is able to keep his team alive. Some other heroes that can do this quest may include Oracle, Omniknight, and Abbadon.

The Cliffs Have Eyes

Place 4 / 8 / 12 Observer Wards for your team.
Any hero can do this quest, just make sure that you actually place the wards, it will not count if you buy the wards and do not place them.

Hold that thought

Interrupt 2 / 4 / 6 enemy heroes during a channeled spell.
Some good heroes to complete this quest may be Earthshaker and Clockwork, Elder Titan and Earth Spirit are also decent options if you are able to play those heroes really well.
Keep an eye open for the enemy team, if they pick heroes such as Pudge, Witch Doctor, Sand King, Shadow Shaman, Enigma, Keeper of the Light or Bane as those heroes use channeled spells.

Arcane Etiquette

Restore 1000 / 1750 / 2500 mana to friendly heroes.
This quest shouldn't be too difficult if you pick a hero such as Keeper of the Light who has an ability to restore mana to friendly heroes. Pugna, IO, or any hero who may get Arcane Boots and Guardian Greavers could complete this quest.

Crimson Platter

Get 2 / 4 / 6 kills or assists on heroes while they are disabled by your stun.
The reccomended heroes for this quest would include Shadow Shaman, Windranger, Batrider, Spirit Breaker. Some other good options would include Bane, Pudge, Winter Wyvern, Chaos Knight, Morphling, and Invoker.

Scanned and Delivered

Successfully scan enemies 1 / 2 / 3 times while they are outside of their fountain.
Keep in mind that the scan does not work on Roshan. This quest can be done with any hero and it shouldn't be too difficult.

Smoked and Then Got'em

Across multiple victories: Get a kill or assist within 30 seconds of using Smoke of Deceit, 3 / 6 / 9 times.
Any hero can do this quest, I would reccomend communicating with your team and trying to use smoke of deceit together and possibly trying to enter the other teams jungle or take out one of their carries.

Dustbusted

Reveal 2 / 4 / 6 invisible enemy heroes, causing them to die within 30 seconds of being revealed.
If you find an invisible hero on the other team just use dust of appearance and go for the kill. Slark can be a good hero for this quest because of the passive ability on his ultimate "Shadow Dance" where he moves faster unless if an enemy hero has vision on him. If you notice that Slark is running slower, it may be a good idea to use dust of appearance.

A Little to the Left

Get 2 / 6 / 10 kills or assists on heroes after forcibly repositioning with an item or ability
Heroes that are able to do this quest would include Spirit Breaker, Drow Ranger, Disruptor or any other heroes that have the ability to reposition an enemy.

Helpless Dreamer

Get 2 / 4 / 6 kills or assists on heroes with Fiend’s Grip, and debuff enemy heroes for a total of 100 / 300 / 500 seconds.
You are required to play Bane for this quest, his ability "Nightmare" acts as a debuff and can last from 4-7 seconds. Orb of Venom, Blight Stone, Medallion of Courage, Solar Crest, Veil of Discord, and Refresher Orb are some good items that should help you in completing this quest.

well i have completed the quests with my favorite and alternate heros.
Alms from the Poor - Vengeful spirit
Walk it off - Legion commander (press the attack)
I know it Hurts - riki with gem
The Enabler - Underlord (Pit of Malice)
Monster Farmer - Beast master
Crutch Player - Dazzle (shallow grave)
The Cliffs Have Eyes - Darkseer
Hold that thought - Sandking (Enemy team shud have heros like pudge, cm, lion(mana drain), shadow shaman(shackles).
Arcane Etiquette - Omnikight
Crimson Platter - lion (Earthspike)
Scanned and Delivered - skywrath Mage (play in any lanes, just use the scam on enemy heros it will count)
Smoked and Then Got'em - Dragonkight
Dustbusted - Timbersaw (i was lucky opponent was riki+ sf)
A Little to the Left - Bloodseeker (Rupture+forcestaff)
Helpless Dreamer - Bane (with aether lens)

It sucks very hard that silence doesn't work on "Hold that thought"-Quest. Crystal and Witch Doctor in one match and i thougt it will be ez with Prophet...

Dark Seer's also a good way to get "A Little to the Left". His vacuum can catch multiple enemies during a fight

tried to do A Little to the Left with venge, apparently swap isnt considered a reposition ability.
