Curse of Huitzilopochtli – Mexico Overhaul is a total overhaul of not just Mexico, but how you play the game as Mexico. I grew tired of blatant inaccuracies and general lack of content for Latin American nations. I set out to create the most historically accurate mod for Hearts of Iron 4 starting in 2016. What began as a simple mod has turned into a labor of love, as I fell in love with the history and its almost unbelievable narrative involving assassination attempts, shadow governments, love triangles, espionage, and honest patriots. I have read countless books on Mexico’s position during this era, and even went into some seriously weird stuff to bring you the obscure history that this game is allowed to give considering its limitations.
