Ever find games that are practically impossible to reach 100% completion, as the game contains multiplayer-only achievements but its playerbase is dead? Well, despair no more, for the ones from Magicka: Wizards of the Square Tablet that fall in that category are actually obtainable solo!

The achievements in question are:

— Multiplayer: Have the yellow wizard die first in a stage's very first encounter.


— Multiplayer: Have a team of four wizards all die.


This method can be applied to all other multiplayer-only achievements too! All you gotta do is to play with yourself. Lemme show you how.

The gist of it is running the game from the Steam client, then running 3 other instances via the game's folder. You'll need to login into multiplayer mode and join the same lobby with 4 total instances of the game. Only one Paradox Account is needed. Here's the quickest way to do it:

• First of all, run the game from your library as usual, choose whatever resolution you want, but set it to windowed mode. You may drag the game's window to the top left to easily identify it as the one launched via the library (it'll be the only instance of the game with Steam's overlay enabled).

• On your library, right-click the game, then Properties. At the new window, go to the LOCAL FILES tab, then click the BROWSE LOCAL FILES button.

 
• This will get you to the game's main folder; proceed to open iMagicka.exe three more times.

 
• The image below should be the result. From there, select Multiplayer. If you don't have a savefile on your PC for whatever reason, the game will only display a "Start Game" button in the middle of the screen, which leads you to the game's tutorial and later to the map. The tutorial can be skipped by hitting Escape and, as soon as you get to the map, you'll need to click the multiplayer icon (or press N) to proceed.

 
• Important: do the following sequence one player/instance at a time, otherwise you'll get a login error somewhere in the middle of the process.
- Host window: Login, create game, set slots to "Open";
- 2nd window: Login, find game, filter by wizard name, input your nickname and press enter, select your lobby and press Join Game;
- 3rd window: same as above, only after the 2nd player joins;
- 4th window: same as above, only after the 3rd player joins.

 
• Congrats, you now have a full team, and the last player to join will have the yellow robe. Press Play in the host's window, and ready up in the others'.

Once on the map, choose any available level. Introductory dialogue can be skipped by the host by clicking, if there's any.

Now for the achievements. As soon as enemies appear as red dots on the edge of the screen, you can go ahead and kill the yellow player first, by either suicide or someone else blasting him up. Once he's dead, repeat the process for yourself and the other players with your preferred method, and das it mane.
