@you'redadsellsavon In other words, different longbows, had different ranges, the typical Lonbow used by english forces could fire well over 220m, and a large Composite bow could fire from so far away that often you couldnt even see the archer if there was even high grass in the area, the Turks once fired on the first crusade from a hidden crest on a ridge so far away that advance scouts saw them from as far away as 400m

A flight arrow of a professional archer of Edward III's time would reach 400 yds. It is also well known that no practice range was allowed to be less than 220 yds by order of Henry VIII.
