How to Enable the old First Person Crosshairs

This guide is to show you how to get the old first person crosshairs. A lot of people found them useful for the shotgun and were dissapointed when they were removed in the September 20th update.

Guide Index

Overview

Step 1: Open H1Z1 KOTK

Step 2: Click on "Open Game Directory"

Step 3: Find useroptions.ini file

Step 4: Find the UI section

Step 5: Save your file

Step 6: Open H1Z1 and enjoy the new crosshairs!

Step 1: Open H1Z1 KOTK

[do not press play] click the settings icon.

Step 2: Click on "Open Game Directory"

Step 3: Find useroptions.ini file

Scroll down to find the file and open it with notepad.

Step 4: Find the UI section

Scroll all the way to the bottom until you find the UI section. Once you have found it, on a new line copy and paste this text: reticleClassicMode=1

Step 5: Save your file

Click here:

Step 6: Open H1Z1 and enjoy the new crosshairs!

how did you get there to be a color on it, mine is just white

dont have the UI in the UserOptions.ini

@CALL_ME_SENPAI Nope, that is a different crosshair. This one is larger and it only is this way when you switch to 3rd person mode.
