SEPTA MP54 (x4)

For those of us who want to relive "the bad old days" of American railroading, here's a rake of ancient MP54s for your run-down Reagan-defunded PennDOT-ignored underpatronized and rapidly decaying commuter rail system.

These cars were built in 1926, and are here represented under the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, or SEPTA, formed 1965. These cars were used until 1981 -- so think twice before using them on a "museum line" -- they're more contemporary than you think.
