Mouse and Keyboard Basics

If this guide helps you get started, let me know with thumbs up vote.

A. Hold down your left mouse button to make a golf shot. Keep holding the left mouse button down while pulling the mouse backwards. Pull the mouse backwards until you have reached the strength that you want to use to hit the ball. Then, while pushing the mouse forward quickly, release the left mouse button by lifting your finger up. Practice makes perfect. Keep your mouse movement as straight as possible so that you do not create a slice or draw shot off the tee if you want to make a straight golf shot.

B. Use the right mouse button to control the direction of your golf shot. Hold only the right mouse button down and move the mouse left or right to change directions of your shot BEFORE you putt or make a golf swing.

C. Use the SHIFT key to shape your shots. While holding the SHIFT key down, a graph will appear on the bottom right side of your screen. You use the right mouse button to add draw, fade and low or high trajectories to your golf shots. Click on the white vertical or horizontal bar of your choice and hold the right mouse button down. Click and Drag the white vertical or horizontal bars to the desired points of left, right or high and low (up or down) trajectories and then release the right mouse button. Exit the graph by releasing the shift key. REMEMBER, right click the desired white bar and while holding down the right mouse key, drag it to its desired location for the shot you desire.

There are other key controls that are self explanatory as they will present themselves on your screen before each and every shot. Experiment with each key to see the various clubs and types of shots and distances. Those keys are C, Z and X.

Hopefully, this guide will help you get started on a PC mouse and keyboard setup. As you learn the controls, you will be able to better control the amount of swing near the greens and on the putting surfaces using the forward and backward movement of your mouse.

There are no power graphs to click and click again for swings and putts. The developers made this program to be as near to realistic as possible. You will have to learn through your mistakes and achievements to become a professional golfer in this game.
