(ACI) Taurus Light Transport Frigate (Vanilla)

ACI Taurus Class Light Transport Frigate, produced by Ares Combat Industries

As wars progressed Ares Combat Industries and the Republic of Orion were in dire need of a transport vessel that was able to bring troops from space to a planet’s surface. So basically the Republic of Orion needed a troop transport, but ACI knew that a ship only carrying troops would not be good enough so they constructed a ship that was able to carry light armored vehicles too. In conjunction to the making of the Taurus, ACI also created a fitting armored vehicle named “Spartan”.

The Taurus can fit 3 of these LAV’s or light assault vehicles in its loading bay and in addition to that the transport frigate is able to carry 8 elite soldiers in its cryo-pods and support one light scout drone, but ACI has not released any details about this drone yet. The Taurus Class Light Transport frigate marks the beginning of ACI’s Planetary Warfare Division. It is able to land on planets in order to deploy armor, troops and materials and can often take the role of a small operations headquarters. This ship is best kept safe within a larger strike group or fleet, because it does not feature durable armor.

Authors Note:

Before loading a Spartan into the Taurus Transport Frigate make sure that the vehicle’s wheelbase has been lowered, or else the top mounted turret will make it unable for the vehicle to enter the loading bay. I hope you guys enjoy them both!
