Your aim is to have Intelligence 100+, Magic 150+, Stamina 300+ and Defense 80+ before you attempt to defeat the War God.

As you may know, we'll be farming black mermaids to gather lots(about 15 give or take should be enough) of s. Afterwards you can defeat the War God by spamming bombs but... in this guide we'll be using MAGIC!

Blood Type: A

Scorpio is the best horoscope to use magic. The first month is one week so we're going with a nice and easy Nov 22nd.

Blood types don't really matter but we're choosing bloodtype A because morality is stat hard to raise. Sadly you won't be seeing your daughter smiling each month as often due to the stress added at the end of each month ;(.

1) Change the dsplay setting to 'without wait'. This guide will take long enough having to save & load, having to go through the dialogue slowly will make it even longer.

2) STAMINA will help you run away (STAMINA higher than the monster = 100% run away)

3) INTELLIGENCE will help you hide (INTELLIGENCE must be triple of the monster).

4) Whilst adventuring, make sure to camp when your MP is below 20 as it may take 2 magic attacks to defeat Patch Fish.

5) At the end of the month you might be challenged. Feel free to accept for the money and reputation.

6) The Traveling Salesman visits if you possess more than 1000 G, 2000 G, 4000 G. On the first visit you MUST have more than 1200 G to buy the Demon Pendant. For the second & third visit feel free to buy whatever you want. But be cautious as this means you have less money for Magic classes which could lead to failing to defeat the War God at age 11.

7) DO NOT attack villagers other than the merchant. Attacking 10 villagers will lead to an automatic arrest at the end of the month, this can be avoided by donating to the church and working part time there.

I made the mistake of attacking too many villagers, not just merchants and Olive having high KARMA led to her arrest, permanently reducing all her reputations to 1/10. If you have any leftover money, donate to the church to reduce her KARMA.

The winter dress is to prepare for the extreme cold in winter. The book is to raise INTELLIGENCE to increase chances of hiding.

Adventure: Western Desert

Your goal is to reach Lucifon's drinking party.
You will meet many monsters, you need to hide/run away. If they defeat you, save&load.


You will meet goblins on your way to and through the maze. Look at the map and camp at the circled areas. Although the map tells you to find the chests first, Lucifon is out priority this month. Go straight through the maze and camp again when you reach the exit. Always camp the moment night comes. When you see the mouth of the cave(4), camp outside. Next morning, trade your FAITH for STAMINA.

Follow the map and this time try to get the treasure chests. Make sure to avoid possessing 1000 G unless you are certain you will have 1200 G at the end of the month. You want to avoid the traveling merchant from visiting unless you have 1200 G to buy the Demon Pendant.

At the church Olive will raise her STAMINA and FAITH that will be traded later. We need at least 20 FAITH to bargain with Lucifon, otherwise Olive will take the drink immediately and raise KARMA as well as raising a flag with Lucifon.

This month your goal is to get the 800G chest, Dragon's Fang and Lucifon's drink. Also have 1200 G by the end of the month.

With enough STAMINA and INTELLIGENCE, Olive can now mug a merchant. DO NOT ATTACK OTHER VILLAGERS. Attacking villagers 10 times will lead to an arrest and permanently losing 9/10 of all reputations. We only attack merchants as they will leave a max of 1500 G + tea set.

Just like last month, trade your FAITH for STAMINA.

Whether by attacking a merchant or collecting another treasure chest, you MUST have 1200 G at the end of the month.

At then end of the month, the traveling salesman will visit. Buy the Demon Pendant.

A&B&C) Just like last month, camp outside the cave and trade your FAITH for STAMINA. Enter the cave to meet the Cave Demon. The Cave Demon will be willing to make a trade. Agree on first terms and he will cast a spell on Olive: 'Circe's Charm'. The spell will increase her MAGIC ATTACK by 10, REFINEMENT by 100, GLAMOUR by 100 and her MORALITY will drop to zero.












A&B)Spend the rest of the month exploring the East or South looking for treasure chests or mugging merchants. I recommend going East as Olive will be able to hide/run away from most monsters and even fight against them.

If you go East, avoid falling into the one-way hole (6) leading to (7). It will make you lose 2-3 days backtracking.

Should she refuse, the demon will offer first 1000 gold and then 1500 gold. If Olive refuses all three offers, the demon attacks.

All you need to do is follow the Dark Purple arrows and pick up the starred treasure chests. You need to fall down from the middle of the bridge to drop down to the first treasure chest. Follow the arrows to open the second treasure chest and spend the rest of the week mugging merchants if you don't have enough money.

Now is the time to gather as many Black Scales as you can.




Before we start, buy as many books as you can. Having a minimum of 70 Intelligence will help with the hunting greatly. If you don't have enough Gold, sell the ice shards you've gathered from the Northern Glaciers.

The red circle shows where merchants appear a lot. The blue circle shows where Black Mermaids frequently appear.

Because Princess Maker 2 Refine continues on real time there is no need to walk, just have your daughter stand in the circled spot(in between the two small rocks on the right) and wait till they appear.

The goal is to gather at least 10 Black Scales this month.

The Black Mermaids should drop a decent amount of Gold. If you've gathered 10 Black Scales then you should have more than 3000 G. Buy Mithril Armor and buy books with the rest of the money.
You should have at least 100 INTELLIGENCE. Be warned, if you have too many items, you will lack space for black scales. In that case, sell summer and winter dresses.

If Olive's stats look like this, 90% of the time she will be able to defeat the War God.
Don't forget you still have one month left, excluding the Harvest Festival.
You can mug merchants or gather more Black Scales. You could even go adventure and open treasure chest in the Eastern Woodland (Forests) or the Southern Riverside (Lakes). With your Magical strength you could defeat Wanted Criminals in each of the four areas.

I have uploaded save files for each of the month while following this guide.
It's not great, I made the mistake of attacking other villagers and had too much Karma, leading to Olive being arrested and permanently losing 9/10 of all her reputations.

If you're having difficulty for the first few months, you can use the save files to skip it and start from March.
