Hello, and welcome to my first guide. This guide will teach you the methods and tactics I use in-game to succeed when playing Freya, The Eye Of The Storm.

I am a Chilean player who lives & studies in London, UK. I have been playing Battlerite since the Beta and Freya has helped me to climb through the different ranks till Grade 11 at the moment.

Freya, The Eye of The Storm is a kind of assassin tank. She is my favourite champion and my girlfriend. She is perfect to chase most of the champions. She can deal 1v1s and sometimes 2v2.

When playing as Freya, you want the squishy enemies to fight you, there is NO way that you can lose a 1v1 unless you are useless player.

When chasing try to throw constantly your Storm Mace (Right Click), this is perfect to do damange in range. Also, if you are gonna fight, make sure you are fighting with an enemy which has STATIC on him, that is very important in order to make damage more efficiently.

Battlerite I seems like a very easy choice to me. 99% of the time I choose 'Torrent'. The 1% stands for the times that I missclicked and when I was AFK so I couldn't pick the Battlerite.
The reason why is really simple, Torrent plays a really important role in your 'Master Combo'.
You usually want the enemy to start focusing you to activate Electric Shield (Q) followed by Thunderclap (E) when most of the enemies are attracted. This makes the enemy team extremely vulnerable to AoE abilities, and makes them an easy target for your teammates, also if you have Lightning Strike (F) available, you can do the 'Finish Him Combo' which was explained in the Gameplay Section.

Battlerite II will depend on the enemy champions and gameplay.

Choosing Storm: I used to use Storm really often. Storm goes really good with a heavy healer such as Poloma or Pearl on your team. I really recommend it when you know you are capable of doing a Thunderclap (E) on three enemies.

Choosing Overcharge: I am testing this one at the moment, I am still thinking how useful it is.

Choosing Thunderbolt: I love this one. I use it when I have to deal tons of damage (most of the time). It's perfect to destroy squishy carries really fast and I think is your best choice in the second round.

Battlerite III will be again very dependant on the enemy team comp.

Choosing Tempest: Tempest is perfect when you are playing as an assassin. Sometimes players that main carries like Jade or Taya are very skillful, and ends up being really complicated to chase them till killing them. I play Tempest a lot since in my teamcomps I am usually the assassin.

Choosing Electric Conduction: really good when you are playing as a tank/front lane and you most take a lot of damage.

Charged Strike: Still testing this ability.

Choosing Storm Cloud: Again, really cool if you want to keep dealing tons of damage.

Choosing Agility: Do NOT pick Agility

Choosing Negative Charge: Again, chasing really fast carries.

Choosing Thunderstruck: Most of the time I pick this, cause in Sudden Death a Stun can make the difference.

Choosing Lightning Blessed: I rarely use it. Just when there is not many range teammates.

To sum up with, I think Freya is one of the most unbalanced champions at the moment. It's perfect for most of the team comps.
