First Step

If you have Black Ops III installed and downloaded to the newest update then you are ready to go!

Up at the Top of steam click "LIBRARY" then find Call of duty: Black Ops III mod-tools. Click on it and install

If you are going to use the mod tools please be in mind that the mod tools take up a lot of memory

Second Step

When the download is finished right click on it with your mouse then click on "properties", a new tab should pop-up. Go to DLC and check mark any DLC that is listed.

You have downloaded the Black Ops 3 mod tools (public beta)

Launching custom maps glitch (will be fix soon)

If you downloaded a custom map and tried to start the map on solo or in private game on zombies or in multiplayer it crashes. to fix this download the mod tools. This only happens to some users. You don't have to download the DLC to fix this problem.

If it still not working verify the game cache...
Right click on Black Ops 3 and hit "properties". go to local files and click verify game cache. this may take awhile.
