Hi fellow EDF-Lovers,

since i haven't seen a complete coverage of the exact loot-ranges for each level offline AND online AND DLC in english, here are all the infos you need regarding the level-range of weapon-drops in off- and online-mode!

The Formula
The maximum weapon-drop-level on the first level:

Easy: 0 Normal: 0 Hard: 25 Hardest: 45 Inferno: 50
-->This is called M1 in the later formula





The maximum weapon-drop-level on the last level:

Easy: 20 Normal: 25 Hard: 52 Hardest: 77 Inferno: 100
-->This is called M2 in the later formula





The formula for the Maximum possible Weapon-level is:

Upper Limit(MAX) = M1 + (mission-number - 1) ÷ (total-mission-number - 1) x (M2 - M1)


Example: Mission 81 inferno online:

50 + (81-1) ÷ (98-1) x (100-50) =

50 + 80 ÷ 97 x 50

= 91,237 = 91 (decimal numbers get always rounded down)

The formula for the Minimum possible Weapon-level is:

Lower Limit(MIN) = MAX - L3


L3 is:

Easy: 5 Normal: 5 Hard: 15 Hardest: 60 Inferno: 60


Example: (again 81 inferno online)

91 - 60 = 31

Yeah grinding level 1 on Inferno just to get something like the AF20 rifle for Ranger and/or equivalent weaponry for other classes makes the rest of the game supremely more enjoyable down the road, IMO. :)

It shouldn't be that hard to do with HTML, look into the <table> tag and well, nested tables,
the alignment of text can also be set with the "align" attribute if not already correct in the first place. It's not THAT hard to grasp!

i have gotten lvl 75 gear on offline inferno crimson any one know why?
