Welcome!
Apparently Floor 26 is the final floor. Asking CapN' Robot about floor 27, the Nekomancer or floor 28 will result in them telling you it's a myth or a lie. Some example responses are:

"If such a class exists, which I'm not saying it does, you'd rescue him from the dungeon like the other classes." - About the NekoMancer

"There are only 26 levels, rumors of a 27th level are horrible horrible lies. " - About Floor 27

"I'm not quite sure what you're talking about, there are only 26 Floors." - About Floor 28

This guide will help you see the truth and venture down to floor 27, 28 and unlocking the Nekomancer class.
Floor 27
"The Floor 27 Is A Legend! And Nothing More! Although On Floor 26 You Can Hear A Distant Meow Below..........." - LOD Wiki

Before we begin I advise finding a "remote" on your way down to floor 26. The remote, when pressed will activate any switches in the room you're in, this includes secret walls, doors, stairs, bridges and traps. Getting to floor 27 with out one is possible but not a guarantee and a lot more grueling.

Floor 27 (naturally) comes right after floor 26 the apparent last floor however unlike the other floors the stairs will not be visible. You'll need to activate a switch in that room for the stairs to rise up.

This can be tricky as the top enemies will likely be occupying the rooms and even if their not they may spawn after some time. If you have the remote, I advise pressing it well hiding in a doorway in every room till the stairs appear. If not, you'll have to search rooms floors and walls and hope you find it.

Another thing to note is one time, I stepped on a tile that made the stairs rise up but on my way back from floor 27, the stairs were down again and so I was stuck on the other side with no hope of continuing. This could have just been unlucky but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Getting to floor 27 will unlock the achievement "Nothing to see here"

Floor 27's layout is like a computer program (nodding at how it's "not real?") and unlike the other floor will have no enemy spawns, just lot's and lot's of cats. I'm not sure if enemies spawn in the rooms over time though.

WARNING: If you didn't already know, killing a cat or a cat dieing is a BIG no-no as a ton of Super Wraths will spawn. These Wraths have tones of health, are super fast and will kill you in a one/little hits.
The Nekomancer

Within floor 27 you'll find the Nekomancer, the last (?) and obviouslly hardest class to unlock. Like the other classes, you simply have to high five him/her and then escort them back to the tarvern (Floor 0).

WARNING: After you high five him/her floor 27 will be swarming with the top grade enemies much like floor 26, so be ready.

Due to all the cat's on this floor it becomes extremely deadly as it's very easy for one to die and spawn Super Wraths. My advice would be to pick up as many as possible before the high five and dump them in the room where you found the Nekomancer.

The Nekomancer can summon cat familiars but unlike normal cat's these will aid you in battle. If a cat dies, a ghost seems to spawn (not a Wrath/Super Wrath) but again will be on your side. These vanish after a short while though.

As well as that, the Nekomancer is just...powerfull. He has high attack and defence. He/she can also use long range weapons and summon. You won't start with a weapon but you're sure to find one soon enough.

Floor 28!
PLEASE NOTE! Although not confirmed, I myself am linked to the Beta for the Oculus to work, from what I've sussed you might need to be on the beta to see this floor/under as it might be a new update feature. To go on the beta, right click on LOD on your game list then go to properties, Beta and select "Beta-"

If floor 27 was not legendary enough, I stumbled on something even more legendary...floor 28.
Unlike floor 27 the stairs were up so you did not need a switch or a remote to enter (for me at least.)

Everything on this floor is huge! (or I was tiny?) The door, the walls and even the enemies that I could see at the other side of the room with x3 the normal size. Above the floor, it read "No hope for you here" or something similar (I assume theirs a few different titles)

Even the chickens are huge:

There's some good news though. The enemies do not cause more damage and they can struggle to hit you sometimes even when standing still.

Would you believe however, this is not the last floor...
Floor 29 +

After 28 you'll find even more floors going down and down. All these floors are swarming with the most powerful enemies...in super size and are almost pitch black.

I lost count of how many floors their were but looking at my photos around 10 floors down (so if I'm correct floor 37 being the last). Here is a few of the entrances.

Golden Cat
So, what's all this about? Well as some of the entrances mention down on the (real) last floor is "The Golden Cat" seen with me here:

Once you have the golden cat, you'll have to go ALL the way back up, so be ready for a long trip.

When you finally reach the taven with the golden cat the same animation as collecting the treasure will play. So what do you get for this seriously tough misson?

Nothing.
Zilch.
Nada.

As far as I can see, you get nothing at all, not even an achivement for doing this so unless you want a serious challange, it's not really worth the time...bummer huh?
Thank you
Thank you for reading! Please note this is all subject to change as updates come out.

Any questions ask below and if theirs anything I missed please let me know and I'll add it asap.

I hate to burst your bubble but I have had this several times, as early as the first or second stage and as far as level 5 (before it began). It's one of those situations where the game thinks your center play-center is further behind you, so it's as if you are sitting much closer than normal. It is really cool when you have to rotate your head to look waaaaay down to the other side of the room.

You got to be in the Beta Version to get to a lower Floor than 27 there Wolf, I've been there twice now in Beta and in the none Beta version it just stops at 27.

Same experience as Regulis mentioned here in the comments:
was 2 times on floor 27 and saw stairs downwards, but couldn't enter the next level / "room"

Just wanted to add, playing on beta mode changes many many of the classes strengths. Almost like a new game all together. Still trying to reach lowest level to confirm your discovery.

The beta is not just for the Oculus, it add's other random features too and one of them must be the new floors. I've added this to the guide, let me know if it works and if you need help.

I will haft to try again to check with the Nekomancer as my class. I do not have my self into the beta for the Ocoulus rift as I do not own one.
