@Nassic i did when i got it working and it wasnt shiny. I used your mod here as an example and made a gold peacemaker though it looks more bassish then golden. still a nice looking skin i might upload it.

Maybe, head into a very dark room with this peacemaker skin on and if you see shine that means your graphics settings are fine.

@ah so you mean im in a low graphics setting for this game right now? Cause im using a good pc it can run overwatch as smooth as a freshly smoothed pearl.

You need to be in dx9 and you might need some details up like effects or something.
And if you're running a low gfx config that could remove it too

I think I created a blue version of the gold cubemap for this skin, or perhaps I just tinted the default reflection blue

Cubemaps are little spots in the environment that take a static snapshot of the map in all 6 directions then put them on the faces of a cube, this cube is simulated on the reflections of weapons by default. The gold ones override this (ie they dont reflect the world at all) and just have their own shine instead, which is in that cubemap
