Guide to Stat Pets
By Aicho
My first guide on Steam was a tier list for all of the pets, but I never went very far into detail with pets that increase stats. On top of that, I've made discoveries recently that never made it into that and other guides.

Types of Stat Pets
Focus
  • Focus pets give a boost of +4 to a single stat.
  • Focus pets include Snoot (Strength), Beholder (Magic), Spiny (Defense), and Meowburt (Agility).

Split Focus
  • Split Focus pets give a boost of +2 to two different stats.
  • Split Focus pets include Scratchpaw (Strength and Agility), and Zebra (Magic and Agility).

Tactical
  • Tactical pets give a boost of +2 to a single stat, and have a special effect on the side.
  • Tactical pets include Yeti (Strength), Cardinal (Magic), Pazzo (Defense), and Seahorse (Agility).
  • Zebra is also a Tactical Pet, but is listed under Split Focus to avoid redundancy.

Other
  • Chicken and Snailburt don't fit into the above categories, although technically Chicken could be referred to as a "Balance" pet.
  • Chicken gives a boost of +1 to Strength, Defense, and Agility.
  • Snailburt gives a boost of +5 to Defense, and docks -2 from agility

Split Focus and Complimentary Weapons
Scratchpaw, Burly Bear, and Zebra all boost two stats each. They emphasize the boosts of split focus weapons, and compliment weapons that boost the two stats which they don't. For each of these three pets, a list of complimentary weapons will be provided, as well as a list of the weapons they emphasize. The bonuses your character receives with both equipped will be listed with each weapon.

Chicken
Chicken compliments every mage weapon, and emphasizes every non-mage weapon, because he boosts three stats. Since it's impossible to make a bad combo when using chicken, it's unnecessary to make any lists for him.

Gonna be honest, I'm confused on the "gold harpoon" weapon, is it the level 30 weapon from the insane mode store next to the skull mace?
Naninitro 6 Nov, 2021 @ 9:14am
what about the other pets like sherbert the cat
Electric Star 7 Apr, 2020 @ 6:57pm
certain pets arent really pets that go for this, these are pets that give you bonuses in stats but not other benefits such as the dragon, seal, and eyeball becuase they dont give you bonuses they help you. same with the whale, it gives you some gold but no stat bonuses. the seahorse dies give you agility but only in water and thats pretty specific and not a stat so not listed, along with the dog that helps you dig stuff up, it has no stat bonuses. if they do have some stat bonuses, like i had no idea that the yeti and cardinal gave you bonuses but they do, so if these pets do give you bonuses then im not sure why theyre not in

Why didn't you put the insane mode pets?

And also where is the Golden whale? He is also in the "Other" category of pets, all he does is just drop gold every few seconds.

Well in reality, Seahorse only makes your agility faster in WATER. I mean, Behemoth knew it would be a bitch to get through water so they made a solution to it!

Yes sir

I'm pretty sure that Chicken + Evil Sword (Fire or whatever) + Ice Knight is the perfect combo, seeming that, as soon as I got the Evil Sword with the Ice Knight, I could get a one-hit kill on everything. That's also probably because I'm level 99 with every character.
