If you're having trouble getting the orange loot crates, I'd suggest that you join a low pop server and try looting there. If you come across a chest that is 25 minutes or less, set a timer on your phone and come back to it when its almost up.

Orange chests aren't the only places you can get special loot. You can also get special loot from M.G. Uplink Stations, Dominion Blockades and the Reactor (You need to be in a group the farm the Reactor!)
