Library
Choose "Library" at the top left of your Steam window.
Games
Select "Games" from the drop down menu.
Properties
Right Click the game in your Library listing and select "Properties".
Local Files
Click on the "Local Files" tab in the window that pops up.
Verify
Select "Verify Integrity of Local Game Cache.

You will get a pop up that says "Validating Steam Files".

Let it run and it will find any broken files and redownload them for you.

Dead Kitty: Not everyone speaks English well or has their Steam in English, which is why the selections are circled so as to be found by their positioning and not text, and it's a thing people tend not to know how to do until they suddenly need to do it.

Mine always validate whenever i click play, and when it's done i need to re-validate again, and again, and again. Any help?

If people really need a guide to do this, then wow......................
