Click on "Friends" in the bottom right.
Select "Claim a Friend's Referral Code"
and place your friend's in-game name in all lower case (in my case that would be "alzorath" without the quotation marks).

This can only be done prior to your first ladder match.

The "referrer" (the person whose name you include) receives benefits when you reach Silver and Gold rank (+1 Spirit Orb, +200 Gold respectively)

Got through everything but the final one on my own. I got the solution correct for everything but one part: Attacking with my General on the Whistling blade after buffing him.

It's very useful if you're stuck, but I'd encourage everyone to try and do them on your own. Helps to get an idea of the games unique cards and card abilities and how to apply them.
