• A multitool.
  
• A ship.
  
• An exosuit.
  
• A starsystem that buys suspension fluid for at least 100% the galactic average is recommended to double your profits.
  
• Something to charge that multitool of yours (Isotopes, like carbon).
  
• The crafting recipe for 'Suspension Fluid' which can be found in Manufacturing Facilities.
  
• Half of a human brain.
  
• Some damned willpower.

Make sure you have the suspension fluid crafting recipe. It's also nice to be in a starsystem that buys Suspension Fluid for double the galactic average. Grab some carbon by destroying any plants on a planet, make sure you blow up those damn sentinels that get in your way. Try to fill your entire exosuit with carbon (except for one slot to craft your first few suspension fluids). Head back to your ship and make your way out of the planet's atmosphere. Go ahead and head on up to the space station again.

Go to the trading terminal and just keep crafting suspension fluid and selling it over and over until your inventory is empty. If you have a maxed out exosuit, this will take about 15 minutes and make you about 400,000 Units.

This is required.

All you have to do is keep using beacons (those things you see all the time that have an orange ray of light sticking out of them) to find manufacturing facilities. To find a manufacturing facility, give a bypass chip to the beacon, and select 'colonial outpost' keep going to the waypoints that show 'Manufacturing facilities'. You will learn (at some point) how to make suspension fluid for yourself and you'll more than likely pick up other recipes (AtlasPass V2 or V3!) on the way to getting the suspension fluid recipe.

This is not required but recommended.

If you want to maximize the amount of money you can make, and shorten the amount of time it takes, you're going to want to clean that old exosuit out first!

Sell or discard anything that isn't of value to you, and then transfer everything that may be of value to your ship.

This is required.

Awesome! You finally found the recipe for suspension fluid! Now all you have to do before being able to sell suspension fluid is to actually get the materials to make it all. Don't worry, it's not that hard.

• Find a plant of any kind (besides grass and very small bushes and ferns).
  
• Fire the mining beam on your multitool at the plant until the plant explodes and rewards you with lots of carbon.
  
• Repeat until your inventory is full of carbon (except for one slot to craft suspension fluid).

This is required.

All you have left to do in your short, suspensful, suspension fluid gathering journey of yours is make your way back to your ship (wouldn't want to leave without it, would 'ya?) and fly back to the space station you found the inflated price at.



Get to the trade terminal once again but don't access it. Fill up the empty slots with suspension fluid until your suit is full, then sell it to the terminal.



Keep doing this until you have turned all of your carbon into suspension fluid and sold all of that suspension fluid to the terminal.
