Intro to the tyrant
Tyrant class consists of three of the strongest and largest animals in Primal Carnage: Extinction. The Acrocanthosaurus, Spinosaurus, and Tyrannosaurus rex, I have chosen to do my guide on the three tyrant classes because I have lots of expierience playing as them and because it is the class that most players struggle as.

Before I begin teaching you the best ways to use the classes individually, I'm going to go over the basics of tyrant class in general.

#1. When playing on maps such as FR Island or PC Basic Testing it is unwise to follow any human players into the water, the tyrant class is slow and almost useless in water and following a human player into an ocean or pool will certainly lead to your demise.

#2. Every tyrant has a week spot, it is crucial that you don't run into a hoarde of more than three human players otherwise they will exploit your week spot.

#3. Tyrants do not do well in tight spaces, when playing on maps like the Docks, Utility base, or the Falls it is is best to stay in an open area wher theres lots of space to move.

#4. Last but not least tyrants attract attention, typically if you are playing as a tyrant class you do not need to go looking for human players, eventually they'll come to you.

Now that you know the basics it's time we go over the strengths and weeknesses of each tyrant individually.
Spinosaurus

Spinosaurus is the biggest of the tyrant classes and has the most health, but it is not always the best to play as. Its best used as an ambush predator.

If you wish to make the spinosaurus your primary choice for tyrant gameplay, heres what you should know.

First off, the spinosaurus (as I said before) is better as an ambush predator, meaning rather than running into a firefight you should hide in the trees or near an area where humans occasionally appear and launch a surprise attack.

The spinosaurs weak spot (or blind spot as some like to call it) is directly behind it, since the spinosaurus has no defensive attack from behind like the rex has, it is completely vulnerable to a rear attack.

Also due to its sail spinosaurus is a very large target, it is best to use the spinosaur in maps with very tall trees and rocks which will provide shielding and cover.

When using the spinosaurus you'll find it might benefit you more to use it's secondary slash attack rather the it's biting attack, due to a very small bite radius it is next to impossible eat a target.

now that you know everything you need to about the spinosaur tyrant class, I look forward to seeing you getting more kills than ever before :)

Acrocanthosaurus

Acro in my opinion isn't the best of the three classes, it's health is really low and it's attacks aren't that effective. But for those of you out ther who wish to learn how to use acro I can give you a few pointers but I can't gaurentee anything.

To begin with acro is the smallest of the tyrant classes so it does mildly better in tight spaces, but it's best not to take your chances.

the acro stomp attack is vey useful when surronded or cornered but not when facing less than four opponents.

When using acro your best attack would be it's bite, the best thing you can do with the acro is you can run into a small mob, eat one human player, then run back through them hoping to trample as many human players as you can when you retreat. Then repeat the process.

That's about as far as i can help with the acrocanthosaur class.

Tyrannosaurus rex

Tyrannosaurus rex is by far the superior of the three classes, it has a wide bite radius, behind defensive attack, and a wide range of useful dlc skins.

It can be used on any map with almost no inconvienience, and if controlled correctly can take on up to four human players. For those of you who would like to master the rex, here is what you need to know.

Tyrannosaurus rex is best used to break up an already ongoing match, for example if you see say three human players against one smaller dinosaur class player, you can use the tyrannosaur to better even the odds.

It can also be used for ambushing and surprise attacks much like the spinosaurus class.

the tyrannosaurs week points are it's sides, since it does not have any side defense it can only harm human players that are behind or in front of it, for this reason unless you are an extremly eperienced rex player you should not take on more than three human players.

tyrannosaur is a reletively good at gaurding entrances if need be in games such as Get to the chopper, as long as you keep your enemies in front of you, your gaurenteed victory

The tyrannosaur is not very good with sharp turns however, do not try making any sudden turns or you could end up stuck or falling.

the best attack to use while playin as the tyrannosaur is it's primary bite, if cornered by a mob you can doevour most of them and make a hasty retreat.

I hope the information I have given you will help you all succeed as tyrant players, have fun guys :)

How to use DLC skins as camoflague
Most people just use there dinosaur skins to show off and possibly make more Friends, but what most players don't realize is that PC:E dinosaur skins can be used as a valuble weapon against human players.

With the right skin in the right map you could be practically invisible!

every playable dinosaur class has at least one skin that could blend it in with any map, but before I teach you how to stalk, I'm going to let you know what skins you should'nt use if you don't want to be seen.

With rex there is really only one skin that sticks out, while the equus rex is very cool and well designed, It can be seen by any human player from a mile away.

Any really colorful skins are of no use for camoflauge, lavender cryo, river spino, aurora acro, alpha nova etc. They could all be seen before they could launch a surprise attack.

To stalk a human player in PC:E you will need to use a smaller dinosaur class and a skin that almost exactly matches the map around you.

Once you've done that, choose a human player and follow them from a far without letting them or any other players see you. This can be done by crouching in bushes and following your soon to be victim under the cover of foliage.

Follow your victim until you catch them alone, once you have jump them and kill them.

The idea of camoflage is used a bit different with the tyrant class, first choose a skin that matches the colors of the map your in (same as with the smaller classes).

then hide in an area next to a path or site that humans frequent, wait for a bit after they show up to be sure they can't see you. Once your certain they can't, burst out of your hiding spot and attack.

these techniques should get you a much greater kill count if used correctly, happy hunting.

I dont believe there is camo for tyrants, although you can wear skins that match environment, it has never saved me or the tyrants I kill.

T. Rex is my main Tyrant, mainly because it's bite radius is huge. And you can confuse a human by walking around in circles. Always works also this guide was Very Helpful!:talon:

Acro is my main, I just seem to work better with it too. As you siad, Umbreon, the human run around you, right? They mostly do that to me. I do the stomp. Plus if there is a huge army of humans, I can run faster and hide. After all, the acro is the smallest tyrant in the game

Spino is my main tyrant, i just seem to work better with it than the other tyrants. I play it in a defensive manner, let the human come to the spino and support the other dinos. Plus if the human start playing ring around the rosy with the spino, the arms can actually hit them on the sides.
