TFA-VOX: Borderlands 2 Vault Hunter Edition

Updated to VOX? Already?


You remember that player expression mod I made for the BL2 Vault Hunters (or at least for the ones on the workshop)? Yeah, this is basically the same but with the extra features of TFA VOX.


This version also has:

• Item pickup lines.
  
• Health pickup lines.
  
• Low health sounds (actually just a heartbeat sound to (vaguely) mimic FFYL, same sound for each character).
  
• Callout wheel. Including basic things like "agree" and "disagree", as well as things like the option to challenge other people (pretty much just the duel request lines). You may want to listen to them before using them with other players though.
  
• Lines for a few gestures (I know I could have done that with PES, I was just never happy with the results).
  
• The VOX option to turn any of these off if you don't like them! Yeah, some things may seem a bit awkward/annoying, so I won't be too offended it you turn a lot of things off.

• The Axton, Maya, Krieg, Zer0 and Gaige models included in this pack.

A few.

When spawning on a map for the first time, more than one spawn line seems to play at once. This only seems to happen when the map loads though, so when you respawn or whatever it should play as normal.

Ally sounds also don't seem to work for whatever reason, so be prepared to react slightly harshly if you press use on a friendly rebel (don't worry, they won't hate you for it).

If anyone happens to know how to fix these problems, leave a comment and I'll mention you in the thanks section if your solution works.

If there are any other bugs you find, comment in the bug thread in the discussions and I'll look into it, though I'm not exactly experienced with lua, so I can't promise quick fixes unless it's something very simple that I've overlooked or something.

If this is a huge, buggy mess, or if you just don't like this version, you can go back to the PES version of this, which should be fully compatible with VOX (ignore the PES requirement section), though it will be missing the extra features.


Yep. Until then, you can use the PES versions of the Pre-Sequel Vault Hunters and Misc NPCs. Once those are updated, I'll get back to working on the other Borderlands packs I promised.
