Frustrated fireman
Hit the unbreakable emergency glass with the hammer three times

  • In the theater, try breaking the glass next to the hammer three times.

Actually reading the terms and conditions
Listen to all of the bartender's disclaimers without skipping any

  • When you give the prescription for melaskia to the barman, don't skip the dialogue.

If it doesn't work this time I quit
Perform a toast with the mug filled to each level

  • The last thing you have to do in the chapter is performing a toast with the party in the bar. You have three options for filling the mug: slightly, fully and halfway. Halfway makes you advance to the next chapter. So first, fill the mug with the two other options and go each time to the bar for a toast.

DUN-DUN-DUN-DUNNNNNN
Complete Chapter 1

  • Story related, unmissable.

Find the hidden picture in Chapter 2

  • When you get the rake, go into the library and use it on the top of the bookshelf.

At least he's good at math
Experience every excerpt from Newton's fanfiction

  • When Newton is sitting in the meadow (before you enter his yard), go in the woods, in front of the archers. Use the horn, an arrow will be shot next to Newton. He will then read a bit of his fanfiction out loud. Repeat the process a couple of times and the achievement will unlock.

World's worst hider
Get kicked out of Newton's yard in three different ways

  • When entering Newton's yard, don't hide in the bushes. Hide instead behind the flamingo or the telescope. For the third way, don't hide at all. The order doesn't matter.

On the shoulders of nitwits
Complete Chapter 2

  • Story related, unmissable.
Chapter 3
Did you seriously just GUESS that?
Set the correct combination for the Vitruvian sign without first finding the clue for it

  • When you get the key, use it on the sign next to the mysterious door. Then select the smiling face with sunglasses and the robot hands.

Be careful. If you go to the shack in the cemetery before that, do not read the note on the wall.

Dream wrangler
Help the sleeping guard catch the centaur

  • Talk to the sleeping soldier next to the prison cells. Keep talking to him until all the dialogue options are exhausted. Now you can use the grappling hook on the soldier and catch the beast.

Plumbing the depths
Explore the sleeping plant for evidence of a previous meal

  • Give the meat mixed with the pills to the plant. Once it's sleeping, use the hoe found in the shack to open its mouth. And witness a tragedy!

If it looks like a duck...
Check yourself out in the mirror

  • Self explanatory. When you get the mirror, use it on Kelvin.

You didn't hear it from me, but...
Find the hidden picture in Chapter 3

  • At one point, you'll have to use the mirror in the manhole in front of the prison cells. After that, check the hole a second time to find the picture.

Chapter 4
A (semi) private moment

Blasts from the past
Dodge Lupin's laser shots until he runs out of one-liners

  • In the last chapter, if you don't teleport by yourself, Lupin will spawn in the room every 30-45 seconds and say a "one-liner". Then you'll automatically teleport to another room. Just repeat the process until you get the achievement. It takes a while... Don't collect the items for the story yet.

A meeting of the minds
Complete the finale

  • Story related, unmissable.
Miscellaneous
Real-life time traveler
Start up the game before a certain other time-traveling adventure game was even released

  • Might refer to "Day of the Tentacle". Which went out in june 1993. Just change your computer's date earlier than that. Start the game, play any chapter and the achievement will unlock.

(I'm not totally sure about the 1993, I set the date to 1980 and it popped)

Let's do the time warp again!
Reset your progress on a chapter you've 100% completed

  • Once you've completed a chapter, try playing it again. When ask if you want to reset it, choose yes and start it.

You can also reset a chapter through the option menu.

And that's it! Another 100% :) I hope this guide was helpful.

For anyone needing the "Real-life time traveler" achievement, here’s what worked for me (Windows 11):

a) Open Steam first – crucial, as it might not launch after the date change.

b) Go to Settings > Time & language > Date & time. Turn Set time automatically OFF.

c) Click Set the date and time manually, change the year to 1995, then click the checkmark (✓).

d) Repeat and go further back (e.g., 1990–1992).

e) In Steam, go to Steam > Go Offline – required or the game may not run.

f) Launch the game, play a few minutes, then quit. The achievement should pop after exiting.

g) Go back to Date & time settings, turn Set time automatically back ON.

h) In Steam, go to Steam > Go Online.

That’s it! Worked perfectly for me. Enjoy the achievement!

For all (like me) playing in 2024 or later. Unfortunately in the Windows 10 Settings menu you can only go 30 years back. But, you can go to "Control Pannel > Date and Time" and there you can set whatever year you like.

Win 10, set to May 30, 1993. That worked too!

Windows 10. The earliest I could set mine was January 1, 1993. Maybe when starting the game 2024 or later, the Real-life time traveler achievement will be unlockable.

Thanks for the great guide.

I confirm that the last achievement did not pop up when I tried July of 1993. Only worked when I went back a month earlier (June).

For the "Real-life time traveler" Windows 10 did only let me go as far back as 1992, it still worked. We'll wait for those guys who try in 2023 or 2024 :steammocking:

Of course it´s a Day of the Tentacle reference. And the Marty McFly reference is just a bonus cuz there are many in the game. Donkey Kong and many others.

Btw I got the "At least he's good at math" AFTER I went into his yard. :steamhappy:

Using 1991 worked. Windows wasn't letting me set it any earlier than that. I didn't bother to change anything else than the year.
