Guardians
Guardians are mostly used for aircraft. As a guardian you should create aircraft soon to help your team to raise an army as aircraft are a bit overpowered as of now. Their defense turrets are also mainy focused against infantry. There isnt too much speciality to this faction other than its air supiriority compared to other factions and different turrets. You also have the orbital cannon as your superweapon.
Renegades
This faction in my opinion as playing it is quite different from the others. As renegades your troops are mainly focoused on land vehicles. Renegades are also different in the way what they are weak when starting out as their best troop the heavy tank requires a nuclear silo, radar and a tech lab. They cost 280$ each aswell. Well now your probabally wondering why I am talking about heavy tanks so much. Well heavy tanks are very good to have as they are good against ground troops, buildings and aircraft and can just run over infantry which to me makes them good against pretty much everything which is unlike most units. Overall Renegades are weak at the start but get strong lategame so if you choose renegade it is a good idea to stayd back until you get heavy tanks. As I explained you might think "renegades aren't weak at the start" well if you compare their prices to some other factions some of them are a bit higher which makes it harder to start out but later on as you get more income 200$ dosen't really matter anymore. You also get the nuke as your super weapon. You also should choose a spawn that is in the back of your team if possible.
Lightbringers/Deathsworn
I find that these 2 factions are basically the same, so I am putting them into 1 category.

Now, I am in no way a pro at either of these factions, if you have something to say about this section, put it into the comments, though I have picked up a few things from playing against them that I wanted to share.

First off, Pros and Cons of these factions:

Pros:
- Fast building and unit creation allows for making a strong army very fast.
- Nearly everything is cheap, besides the superweapons, which you should only use late game as they are not worth the cost most of the time, more on this later.
- Powerful air units.

Cons:
- Most units are quite weak, needing massive amounts of them to be effective later on.
- Require farms to create units.

Strategies:
Early Game: You should attack around 6 minutes as around then is their peak in effectiveness in my opinion. At that time, you should have a large enough army to at least damage the other team signifigantly or win.
Late Game: Use only mostly Late game air units and push behind friendly units. You should also use your superweapon when friendlies are taking or your own units are taking damage, it will heal friendlies and hurt enemies.

Superweapon:
Use this when friendly units are taking signifigant damage, it provides an area effect that lasts about 15 seconds and heals friendlies while harming enemies

Overall:
I find these factions are more for early game rushing and are quite weak lategame. If a majority of your team goes these factions, you should rush the enemy. If a majority of the enemy goes these factions, make sure to get some defense ready.
Tips for all factions.
Both renegades and guardians are different yet similar as they both have around the same things just specialize in different areas. For simpicity I will just number out the tips.

1. Refineries are expensive so try to protect them but its not the end of the world if you loose one as it has probabally given you more money than it cost to make.

2. Harvesters hold signifiganly more than minecarts so at most you should have 3 per oil/gold mine.

3. Harvesters and Tanks can run over units so use this to your advantage if someone decides to try to kill your harvesters with some infantry earlygame.

4. Nuke and Orbital lazer are a lot better than the lightbringer/deathsworn super weapons so use this to your advantage.

5. You can only ever have 1 HQ but it does not need any upgrades and costs 2500$ so try to defend it or you will have to pay quite a bit to get another as you cannot build without it.
What to do if someone in your server chooses a mechanical faction.
If someone on your server chooses a mechanical faction this part of the guide will tell you what to do.

If an enemy chooses Guardians You should:
1. Perpare for an air attack.
2. Keep in mind they have no anti air turrets just a lot of units.
3. Attack them with anti air groupnd troops or mass air troops.

If a friendly chooses Guardians You should:
1. Treat them as you would a lightbringer/deathsword for the most part.
2. Give them a bit of ground support if they are under attack.
If an enemy chooses Renegades You should:
1. Attack them before they can get heavy tanks.
2. If you cant destroy them try to destroy any nuclear silos they make as they are expensive and required to make heavy tanks.

If a friendly chooses Renegades You should:
1. Defend them (not at all costs you cant leave yourself defenseless.
2. If they are under attack before they have heavy tanks they will probabally die unless they are helped.
Overall.
Overall a few things I want to say.

1. As Renegades you are more of a support faction.

2. As Guardians you are more of an offensive faction.

3. Lightbringers/Deathsworn are best for early game rushing.

Also to end off thanks for reading my guide and sorry if some of the tips arent the best or the guide becomes outdated I may add more or just create another guide.
