For this guide I am using a GTX 970 and i7-3770k OC 4.4ghz. The gpu is slightly OCed too.

PS: You can disable the V-sync as well to compare the performance when it's On and Off, it might help. Or you can also set V-sync to Fast in Nvidia Settings.

So far you should be able to achieve a good performace. You can modify your settings the way it fits you and best for you.

I played 5 hours straight with those settings, the game is smooth and nice, yes because it's a just released game so you can expect some RAM jump from time to time do to the "not optimized well game". But it works perfectly on my gear, until now i still didnt leave my home planet and I will not leave it until I discover everything I need to persue my journey thru the galaxies and beyond.

As stated before this guide was done under GTX970, i7-3770k OC 4.4Ghz and Acer Predator with G-Sync. As advised I used SMAA to achieve a very nice smooth performance and pictures.

This is a guide to add some color enhancement and some sharpness into the game using SweetFX.

First of all download the latest ReShade and SweetFX 2.0 under alternative downloads[reshade.me].

Next install the SweetFx into the folder of the game. If you are new to SweetFX I suggest to reach out for some quick tutorial on Youtube or just Google it. You can check the Reshade website for an instruction as well.

What I changed in my SweetFx_settings.txt are:

• #define USE_SMAA Anti-aliasing : Smoothens jagged lines using the SMAA technique.
  
• #define USE_LUMASHARPEN - LumaSharpen : Sharpens the image
  
• #define USE_VIBRANCE - Vibrance : Intelligently saturates (or desaturates if you use negative values) the pixels depending on their original saturation.
  
• #define USE_DITHER - Dither : Applies dithering to simulate more colors than your monitor can display. This lessens banding artifacts (mostly caused by Vignette)

Please note that the SweetFX does not affect the performance of the game. The SweetFX enhance the color and the sharpness of the game to give you the best color out of your gear.
