"Found some old screenshots of a few scripted events that made Half-Life crazy fun to play.... Half-Life was the 3rd PC game I bought for myself and first FPS. Before that I was playing racing and rts games like Need for Speed 2 SE and Command and Conquer.... I remember my older cousin(Forrest) brought over a demo disc and one of the demos was Half-Life:Uplink... (I think you can still download it... keep an eye out for the creepy stalker... the gman) It started out with a bunch of scientists freaking out that their satellite dish won't move remotely anymore and it needs to be manually moved... so you take an elevator up and as you make your way through the game... you have to fight off weird aliens and crazy army guys hell bent on killing everything... you eventually align the satelite dish, make your way back and then try and escape the facility... the demo ends abruptly just as you are introduced to the largest, scariest alien thus far... it was amazing..."
