Introduction
Hello, I realize that the Edge of Space community is nearly dead but I thought I'd make an achievement guide for those very few, if any, who might be interested. This is my first guide and hopefully it will prove to be useful to at least someone.

The wiki for this game is quite empty and not very thorough or informative. I had to figure a lot of this game out on my own. I couldn't think of a way to separate the achievements and there aren't too many so I just put them in a lump. Anyway, please enjoy the guide!
Achievements Section 1
Welcome to the Edge
You have awoken in a strange world you know nothing about. You've entered a world for the first time!

This achievement is the easiest to obtain. Simply create your character, create a world, log into it and you'll have it.

One of Us
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. You have joined another players server.

Exactly like the previous achievement except you need to join another player's world. Using your own will not work nor will logging into one hosted by yourself (at least if you are using "localhost" to connect).

It’s Not The Fall...
It's the short stop at the end. Die from falling damage.

You Win Again, Gravity
Die from falling damage 25 times.

These two achievements are the same, the first, simply die from fall damage once, the second die 25 times. It's as straightforward as it sounds.

What’s Radiation?
Die from exposure.

Winter is Coming
Visit the Comet Biome.

Desert Power
Visit the Barrens Biome.

I decided to explain these three all in one paragraph. The game is divided into three layers and you start at the very top layer, the Protolife Biome. The second, or middle, layer is the Comet Biome, and the bottom layer is the Desert Biome. They are separated by giant gaps with random islands that, if you aren't careful, will easily kill you with fall damage. However you can't simply just fall all the way down to these biomes as radiation will most likely kill you before you make it, which would unlock the first of these achievements. You will know where the radiation will begin to affect you when you come across a banner that spans across the world stating that below this line your suit will not protect you from the radiation. You simply can't miss it, it flashes a little bit. To go further without damage you must upgrade your suit. It will take a while to be able to comfortably explore the desert biome but you may be able to drop into it once you can safely explore the ice biome.

Dirt ROCKS!
Mine 5,000 blocks.

Devourer of Worlds
Mine 1,000,000 blocks.

These are straightforward as well, however the second one is by no means a small feat. You wouldn't come close to finishing this going through regular gameplay, grinding is a must. I've dedicated hours to just mining and I am just scratching at it's feet. The best drill to use is most likely the hyperdrill. It may not be the fastest in mining a single block at time when it comes to stubborn ores, but its mines 3 blocks at a time so it will take care of dirt, mud and the like quickly and effectively. A caveat is that you have to have a full Groundpounder suit in order to use it. I would recommend putting on a good show or movie and grinding this out. You could get through several movies before you get this.

Healthy Appetite
Eat 10 Food Consumables.

Buffet
Eat 100 Food Consumables.

Glutton
Eat 1,000 Food Consumables.

There are six different food consumables to choose from and two are available from the start. If you are going to grind this and aren't going to get it through gameplay, I would recommend the first two as they have the most abundant resources needed to craft. Grinding wise, the best way would be to put all the consumables in your hotbar, select the eighth one, and set a macro to click every second or so. You will consume the food starting from the first and moving to the left so you could go off and do something and come back with 800 items consumed and have 200 left to go. This wasn't very bad at all to do, once you're about midgame level it should be pretty easy.

It Takes a Village
Collect 5 NPCs

Me and THIS Army
Collect 15 NPCs.

This will take a while simply because I don't think there are 15 NPCs in the game and the fact that coming across one is very rare. The robot helps the most for this achievement as he is found in 4 pieces if I remember correctly and each counts as an NPC when you interact with each part. Simply talking will count, you don't have to build anchors for them. Furthermore, finding the same NPC in multiple worlds WILL count towards the achievement, so it is possible to make 15 worlds and help the shark 15 times.

My Domain
Dominate 10 Areas.

Areas are special zones you come across that are kind of like mini quests. They contain an enemy, such as crabs, penguins, polar bears, or drones, that have spawn structures that you must destroy and then choose whether to defuse bombs that appear or let the place blow up and thus, "Dominating" the area. The words will flash across your screen to let you know how awesome you are. You know when you've come across one when a task appears on your screen or you get a message saying "you can't mine in this area". This is pretty easy and shouldn't cause you any trouble.

Building Better Worlds
Terraform a primal zone.

Over 9000!
Activate 16 Upgrade Platforms.

A Primal Zone is a type of area, as mentioned above, but it is far easier to dominate, as it only requires you to unlock a door without having to face any enemies. Consequently, it is also much rarer and is where upgrade platforms are found. Well, they aren't as much "platforms" as they are boxes that appear once the primal zone is dominated that you simply right click to receive the upgrade. The wiki states that 1-6 will spawn, but I assume it's outdated as I have consistently had 3 spawn every time. Therefore you will need to find at least 6 in order to fulfill the requirements.
Achievements Section 2
Creature Feature
Kill 300 creatures.

Simply have to kill 300 enemies. Will come with natural gameplay.

Smarty Pants
Spend 100,000 Science XP.

You earn science experience by mining, killing enemies, pretty much everything you do in the game. There is a bar shown at the bottom of your screen that shows your maximum amount and your current amount. Once maxed, XP gained from activites will be wasted. Spend it in the research menu accessed via "k" or the bottom left menu on your screen. Will take some time, but not farfetched.

OMGTron
Defeat Omegatron.

Fun Dungeon
Complete a Dungeon.

For the first one, Omegatron is found in a dungeon, but you won't be able to defeat him easily as he is an endgame boss. Once you do the achievement will pop. There are less difficult dungeons and you can access them via nav data that can be dropped from enemies or crafted. To craft, you will need coordinate fragments that are dropped from enemies. Put the nav data into a skiff padd and off you go to the dungeon. Omegatron's dungeon will have to be crafted. They can't be reached any other way and aren't located in the world. The only way to unlock the "Fun Dungeon" achievement, at least for me and a few others, is to defeat the headhunter dungeon boss. (Thanks to randoplhren for that advice.)

Don’t Fear the Reaper
We'll be able to fly... Use 100 Cryorods to keep the fight going!

Cryorods are automatically generated in cryopods. There is a counter of how many you have in the upper left of your screen. The counter only displays the amount of cryorods for the cryopod you are currently linked to. Cryorods are consumed when your health drops to 0, and automatically restores part or all of your health, shield, and energy. It's like a life counter. Once you reach zero and die, you are teleported back to your cryopod. The master Cryopod you begin with does not make cryorods. Use 100 of these, and you will gain this achievement.

Lumberjack
Cut down 1,000 formations.

This is pretty simple as all you have to do is destroy plants. This ranges from trees, to mushrooms, to vines and even grass if not mistaken. The plants do not have to be broken via a tree saw, just simply broken. Therefore you can mine blocks from underneath, or above for vines, to destroy them and it will count towards the achievement.

Moonwalker
Jump 1,000,000 times!

This one is as obnoxious as it is straightforward, much like the "Devourer of Worlds" achievement. My recommendation is to just set a macro and go to bed. It will take a long time. One night got me halfway through the achievement, although when i returned my character had stopped jumping, so I'm not sure how long it will take. I guess the game got tired of spamming the spacebar, but turning the macro on and off fixes it so I don't know. Also, I would put a block directly above your head to prevent the jetpack from activating, which i would assume doesn't count.

@#1 Thanks for the tip, it worked for me as well. I updated the guide and credited you.

@#1: Thanks! I didn't even have to kill the boss, just enter their room and leave it through the same door again. At least in my case they were in the room in the center (third of five from the left).

Hello, I'm also aim to collect all these achievement too. (But I'm just start)
about the "Fun Dungeon" just play the headhunter dungeon again. Search every room and find the brain boss. Kill it, and achieved!
If you didn't fount the boss, collect, repeat, until found him. Achievement will popup after you exit the dungeon. :hee:

It worked for me. If you want to you can add me to either help you with the solo method or to join my server for the achievement.
atomicmutilator  [author] 24 Sep, 2016 @ 11:45am
I tried the solo method, and I couldn't get it to work. It wouldn't let me connect to my server via external address.

Yea we can go for that Dunatis2000. I'll give that solo method a shot von Raven, thanks for sharing that. Sad to hear that the achievement seems to be bugged for you too.

The "Fun Dungeon" achievement didn't pop for me either, although I tried the headhunter, Omegatron and Halloween dungeons. The dubstep dungeon seems to be bugged so I couldn't even fight the boss.

It's possible to get the multiplayer achievement by yourself, there is a guide on astats [astats.astats.nl].
