  • In your Steam Game Library, find the game, right click it and click Properties.
  • Click the Local files tab.
  • Click the "Browse local files..." button to open up the game folder.
  • Open "dosboxMOO2.conf" with a text edtior.
  • Change the line:
    output=overlay to output=openglnb
  • Change the line:
    fullresolution= to fullresolution=1280x960
  • Save the file.

Note: Attempting to use any higher resolutions will just make the game run with black borders on the side.

What is this "overlay" supposed to do? Can we not play moon on a tablet?

this game won't load for me, at all, despite it loading perfectly the 1,200 times i played it before. for some reason, it won't work.

This worked perfectly. I would have steam chat opened on a second monitor but it would disappear when I launched the game.

I followed your instructions but couldn't fine a dosboxMOO2.conf file? Do i have to create one?
