SlyJesse here and today we’re going to be taking a look at factions inside the game Shattered Skies, how to level up your faction and what the benefits of choosing a faction is. There are 3 factions inside the game which include Domination, Brotherhood of Chaos and Merchant Guild. Choosing and leveling up a faction inside shattered skies allows you purchase unique items specific to that faction and in a future expansion you will be able to gain control of locations using your faction.

Remember that gathering from a faction station or destroying equipment will lower your faction standing with all other factions. So it is a good idea to pick one and stick with it if you plan on levelling up your faction level.

Once you have leveled at least 1 level in your chosen faction you will be able to purchase from the faction shop located in each of the safe zones.


If you want to get items from another faction you’re going to have to trade for them or pick them up from the ground or players bodies. Small mines however can be found inside some reward bags.
