I have uploaded more than just his models, and when I click ''Upload to workshop'' in SFM, it loads up the description of my last addon which I make slight edits to, I leave the link to the original workshop addon I got it from so people know who to credit, when people comment on my uploads thanking me, I've made sure to tell them to thank the original creator in most cases since people don't read the description a lot.
Mr Game & Watch has the 2D effect because of his white outline and non-existent shadow, if you're asking about how to make the other characters be ACTUALLY flat, I have no idea, but I can tell you the result would not be very pretty, Nintendo succeeds with this effect in the Smash Bros Flat Zone stages not by actually squishing the models, it's just an effect the stage and camera give off.
