General

  • Use sticky settings at first to get adjusted, toggle or hold later for more advanced control.
  • Keep your middle finger over the grip button when holding the controllers, it is the most efficient way to grab anything.
  • Your fists are very effective against weaker enemies, you can also block with them.
  • When you unlock turrets (dominant hand - menu button), make sure to use them!
  • Check the filled cubes on your Data Core to get a sense of how much health it has left.
  • Learn the ways of the Teleshift, understand your environment so that you can shift without looking.
  • Pay attention to your surroundings so that you can be on the assault, being strictly reactive will lead to panic!

Bishop
  • Reload often, keep a spare magazine at the ready when you're rolling around with only one pistol.
  • In a tight spot, pistol whipping is deadly effective.
  • Charged shot is an incredible early ability - use it often on multiple enemies at once and finish the leftovers who fall to the ground.
  • Bulletstorm is essential for taking out heavier enemies - particularly when your magazine is empty.
  • Timewarp is hyper-complementary and makes everything better.
  • Don't be afraid to get close to the enemy, point-blank headshots are as powerful as they are satisfying!

Saija
  • Confident blade attacks = better, consistent damage; waggling lazy gestures = no dice!
  • Gripping the flash blade with both hands increases damage output and makes it easier to deflect incoming shots.
  • The Katana Throw has a learning curve but is one of the most flexible abilities in the game - control it while airborne and flick your hand back for immediate return.
  • Gravity Thrust allows you to control the flow of combat - pushing robots off a ledge can be part of that flow.
  • Levitation Smash provides invaluable utility in times of great stress, especially when surrounded!
  • Shuriken Stream is a fantastic solution to swarms of murderous drones.

How do I actually use two pistols as Bishop? I couldn't find any settings for it; is it an unlockable skill?

To activate Levitation Smash you'll have to be playing as Saija. Once unlocked & purchased, hold down the right touch pad, move your finger right, and then let go to activate Levitation Smash. With a little practice, activating abilities will become second nature!

Are the shortcuts for the skills listed anywhere? The tutorial talked about how to turn on bullet storm, but how do you activate Levitation Smash? Thx.

The turrets are huge! Also, replay the levels to recieve all the unlocks.
