“Jerry held onto Caen, tooth and nail. Every time we pushed, they clung on tighter. Every basement, ruin and bunker down every damn street was a deathtrap, and what should have been a fleeting skirmish took us the better part of a month. Wilkes summed it up best: ‘they fight like we did at Dunkirk’, he’d said. We shouldn’t have expected less.” Dense urban ruins change the pace of combat, where ambush and indirect fire are key to maintaining control. Knowing where to defend and where to assault can turn the ruins against your enemy.

A good, but very tricky map to play against AI. You really have to hold certain chokepoints on both sides of the map or you are screwed. It's good practice, but damn if it didn't take me a longer than average to figure out how to beat with a hard AI (victory point, 500pts really punishes you if you turtle on this map).

Looks nice as always - but too bad its only 2 Players - useless when you play no 2 Player maps :(

Hey Monolithic, do you know some scar coding or a good source were I get some insight? I looked up some stuff on COH2.org already but what I wanna do isn't there. So I need a manual on how scar works. I thought you might know. Asider from that this is again a quality map from you :) Thanks for your hard work.

Tryed it only in 1 game by now but it was pleasant to discover and I won ! ( US paratroops vs OKW )
