go to your "c:/users/yourname/Documents/MyGames/Path of Exile/" Folder and look for the production_config.ini - open with notepad (or notepad ++) and go to the following line: texture_quality=1 (or 2)
1 is best quality... I have mine at 6 ... like: texture_quality=6
