General Info
The Engineer, one of the best, if not the best character in the game from my experience.

This character does rely on having health regen being leveled up so that he can sustain himself.

His Abiltites include Normal Attacks, Robo-spiders, and Landmines. These will be explained in further detail farther on down in the guide.

His base Speed and Accuracy are very bad, and I mean VERY bad. However I do not reccomend leveling these up, instead priortize attack and only attack. This does not mean to not raise these though, try to get items to raise these if possible so that attack is the stat that levels up with you.

The Engineer does have a pretty high hp stat, that's about it.

This guy is mediocre in the Early Game being very slow and not having high stats at all, his only saving grace here are his abilities.

In the Late Game, the Engineer is an absolute monster that can tear up the strongest in a max of two right clicks.

Now, lets get more in-depth with this beast.
The Abilities
So, with the engineer comes three abilities, the Normal Attack, the Robo-Spiders, and the Landmines. All of which can be useful, but only one of them is really any good.
Normal Attack
The engineers normal is prety bad, unless you have some specific items, a few of which being Merlin's hat and unicorn horn.

This attack is okay for swatting away the enemies that try to rush you. So don't even bother rushing in swinging, that will not get you very far.

I do not reccomend upgrading this due to it's slow speed and unreliability with the engineers base accuracy of 38. From my observations, this seems to have a thinner hitbox than the other melee based characters.
Landmines
These landmines are cool on paper, but I feel that they fall short in practice.

Basically, this sets some landmines around you that deal some pretty big damage, which sounds cool, but I find that it's a very situational ability.

Landmines work pretty well against enemies that try to rush you, but those are not your main concern since you are a melee fighter, in that situation, try to run away while swinging at them.

The best use I've found for these landmines is running into the enemy spawn circle, and dropping them right there. That's pretty much the only good use I've found for this ability.

Now of course, there are other uses, but the best that I've found is the one that I've stated above.
Robo-Spiders
How can I describe how AMAZING this ability is. Imagine that you have a grenade that SURPRISE, is actually more than one grenade, chases enemies down, and does enough damage to tear any boss ever a few new ones.

This ability starts with 3 spiders that deal damage in proportion to your damage.

Everytime you level these up, they do 20% more damage. Every 2 level ups, you gain a new spider.

This ability is your bread and butter and is, in my opinion, the only ability worth leveling up due to it's sheer potency starting in the Late-Early game all the way through to the end... which I don't think exists.

In every stage of the game, you want to hide and let these guys do about 95% of the work, attacking the enemies that rush you when these are on cooldown.

You can spawn them from across walls into enemy territory and let them explode everything.

These can have the same use as landmines in regard to you going into the enemy spawn circle and immediately placing them down.
The Early Game
In the early game, the engineer gets a slow start relying solely on his spiders to be able to take out the enemies and level him up.

As stated in the beginning, only level up his attack in the beginning and pretty much throughout the entire game. The only exceptions being his defensive stats if you find yourself dying a lot.

When you buy items in the shop, focus on the attack items that stack really well, try to avoid buying multiples of items that don't stack well such as the rusty sword.

Your first true hurdle will be the first boss, spam your spiders, which won't be doing much damage at this point in time. Save your Normal Attack for getting rid of his projectiles, which if you leveled up only attack like I had suggested, will deal a good chunk of damage to you upon getting hit by one. Once you get past this boss, the rest of the bosses are a cake walk.

Just make sure that you know that you aren't invincible and to keep an eye on your health at all times.
The Mid Game
There's not much to say here, just use the knowledge that you've gotten from playing as the other characters, and from this guide, to help you through this part.
The Late Game
This is where the Engineer truly shines and becomes super fun to play as. Just so you guys know, The Late Game in this guide refers to the last boss and every loop after that.

The final boss will be annoying, taking more damage than any other has been able to, as well as spawning back in some of those earlier bosses, which at this point for the Engineer, are not a threat at all.

Just like in any other loops, all the enemies will spawn on the rest of the floors, so don't expect just the basic enemies on the Dark Dungeon again.

The Bosses that you come across again will prove to be very weak when stood up against your spiders of death.

The enemies that pestered you in the early game are still going to be annoying, and possilby even kill you if you aren't being careful enough, it's happened to me, and it will most likely happen to you.

Your MAIN CONCERN, the ultimate run ender, The Orange Slime Things that explode. These will do so much damage, that it literally does not matter what your stats are, if you have full health, and any other possible variables. THESE. WILL. KILL. YOU. anytime you start to notice a large amount of explosions in a large area, you get thte hell out of there, it's better to take some damage getting away, than it is to die to a lone slime thing.
Authors Final Words
Hello all, if you've made it down this far, I'd like to thank you for reading my guide of the Engineer, which is actually my first guide ever. I'll try to update it if there is an update to the game, but don't expect immediate changes. Other than that, if there is anything you thought was important that I left out, tell me and I'll most likely add it in, as well any criticisms for the way I made the guide are helpful and I appreciate any and all feedback that I get.

@Pex#Lazzy I would say that it is possible, however you'd have to be playing that run for quite a long time to reach such a high number. You could theoretically also use cheats, but what's the fun in that?

if you level up spiders and physical attack, it can kill bosses in one hit
