(CBH's Trains) Class 37 Diesel Locomotive

Brief Description: A working vehicle train mod for Garry's Mod. It has 5 skins (BR, ICBR, EWS, DRS, Police) Its max speed is 60 mps (IRL Max * .75) And can pull quite a large amount of cars. Fast acceleration, and real sounds.



D Start/Stop engine
E Get into chair(Must look at a chair)
A Sound horn(Hold for continous)
W/S FOrwards and backwards respectively.

Skin 0 [InterCity British Rail]

This is the default skin, and in real life more than likely the most common type.

Skin 1 [British Rail Green]

From the same company this is the green livery of the locomotive. I believe this is now a defunct livery in real life.

Skin 2 [Direct Rail Services]

A newer company comrised of class 47s, 37s, and 20s, their most popular is the class 37. many can be seen in real life, and this skin is mostly on par with it.

Skin 3 [English Welsh & Scottish Railway]

A beautiful yet simple skin, red and yellow displays the EWS livery of the class 37

Skin 4 [Police]

This livery was requested to me. It is an actual real livery (Now scrapped in 2005)for a locomotive. It was painted this for an intercity advertisement and this was one of the jokes in the video. Can be seen here.

To change skins , get close to the locomotive, hold C and right click the loco. A menu should pop up, press skins, a sub menu should pop up and you can select a skin there.

To enter cab, the doors have no physics so you can pass through them easily. The engine compartment is the same, there a a false door in each cab.

Works well with Magnums Trakpak

Can haul a lot of my old cars, mainly because they are too light compared to their real life counterparts.

Will generally have a hard time hauling non powered locos. 3 -4 of them that arent powered will make it stop.

In multiplayer you can Double/Triple/Quad/ECt head with this. Generally two locos are used on a large consist of 13-18 cars.


The textures are a bit wavy on the cab front.
They might be a bit of "clanging"/"bashing" while on curves. This is caused by the physics engine, since hte loco is heavy.
Another physics issue, you might not be able to the the passable doors if the loco is not 90 degrees with the world.



I take suggestions, however keep in mind i might or might not do them.
