First off, chop down some trees. If something comes, like a green slime, easily kill it. But if you're lucky (Or unlucky depending on how you see it.) A pinky may spawn. Either run, or get the guide to kill it. If you want to kit it, you will need to use your axe/pic.

After you get some wood (Perferrably around 50-100) Make a sword. And try to make a house. A house requires atleast a 10x5 arera in the house (I think) with a chair, walls, and either a work bench or a table.

Here you could do one of two things. Either stay outside, killing zombies, demon eyes. etc. Trying to get rare items, like zombie arms, shackles, or if you are lucky, a black lens (We use that later!)

Or you could go mining. The underground has many useful things. Heart lanterns, Ores, Life threatening enemies, wait what? Oh yeah, there also also underground hotels as I call them.
