The app you'll need to download is called 'Free Eagles', developed by Free4Game. Just search for "Warthunder free eagles" and you'll see it. The app image is pictured here:

Once you download and install the app, you will immediately be asked to enter an invite code. I would be super happy if you entered mine, which is xp9yy, but you don't have to! You can enter anyone's code! This, however, is your one and only opportunity to enter a code. You will not be able to enter one later if you don't enter one now. If you don't have a friend immediately available that has a code of their own (which I doubt you do, because if you did you'd be listening to them instead of reading my guide :P), I'd really appreciate it you entered my code <3.OR FEEL FREE TO CHECK OUT THE COMMENTS AND FIND SOME OTHER LUCKY SOUL'S CODE TO USE! :D

Now you should be at the app's homescreen. It'll look like this:
As you can see, I've earned 811 Golden Eagles so far from using this app (including 28 from my friend :D). The profit is real!

Next you'll want to open Account, and from there you enter the email address you use to log into War Thunder, then press 'Save email'. It won't look like anything happens when you press the button, but it worked!
As you can see in the app, every time you reach a total of 34 golden eagles or more the app transfers the golden eagles to your War Thunder account for you to use! You'll get both a notification in the app and an email from Gaijin thanking you for your purchase.

* * * "Purchase?!", you might be thinking, well don't worry, you won't spend any money in this app whatsoever! It's free and SUPER easy! :D * * *

See that big yellow button on the homescreen that says 'List Of Tasks'? Tap it! It'll bring you to (surprise surprise!) a list of tasks you can complete to earn you the specified amount of golden eagles! Hurrah!

I'd recommend only downloading and running apps (indicated by a green dot with a downward facing arrow inside it) in this list. Quick actions tend not to work and surveys are fishy and require your google account email :L.

Here's what I do:

Go to the homescreen, and look for the giant yellow button on the bottom right with the video camera icon.
Tap the icon, and a 20ish second advertisement for some random app will start playing.
(sometimes you get a task like go to a website and click on an advertisement, these work too).

Here's the best part: Turn off your phone volume, and watch some youtube videos or a movie or anime or whatever you like to watch, while paying a small amount of attention to the app and pressing the button every 20ish seconds.

While you are only getting 1 measly golden eagle per advertisement, they do add up quick while you're preoccupied watching something else.

You hardly even notice the app, but don't forget to keep pressing the button!

I've already made 811 golden eagles in a week or so doing this :P

Also, don't forget to check out the list of tasks every so often, because sometimes there are apps that get you around 30 golden eagles for downloading and running them (I'm looking at you, chick-fil-a ;D)

NOTICE: Lately I've only been getting a Hulu task when I tap on the camera icon that requires signing up for Hulu and spending money. Obviously I haven't completed the task because I don't need Hulu lol, but I'm not sure if this is happening for everyone or if it's because I've watched all of the 20ish second advertisements that they have. Regardless, if it is just the current offer for everybody, it should change in a week or so. After the latest update the Hulu task is gone! Huzzah! Now it's video advertisements again woohoo!

Well I'm glad you asked! Technically, it isn't free. You are watching advertisements, downloading apps (which adds more downloads to their store page and makes them look better), and completing bogus surveys (don't do these, as I said before, they're super fishy), and in exchange for your individual viewing of their ad or app download or what-have-you, you get paid in golden eagles!


"What's the catch?" The catch, per-say, is that you don't actually aquire your golden eagles until you earn 34 or more. This encourages you to use the app more to keep earning golden eagles, or give up and give the app developer (Free4Game) free profit.


"Free profit? How is this guy even making money?"

You watch an ad > Free4Game gives you 1 GE > misc companies pay Free4Game more than what he pays for your golden eagle > repeat
Now Free4Game gets to eat meat for dinner tonight! Hurrah! Or buy a Bentley, idk how much they actually rake in profit-wise lol.
It's almost as if Free4Game is your boss paying you your wage, and keeping the rest of the profit.

"Sounds like a bad deal >:\" Yeah, well, there's no other way of earning free golden eagles, is there? xP


Remember that this is actually worth it, it does add up fast, and if you use your GEs for research it gives you a major boost in getting through those tiers. :D
