Advice to make a good suggestion.

This guide is to help you make a good suggestion that will have a higher chance to be in the game.

Simple Form
  • What is it. (X)
  • What does it do. (Y)
  • Why should it be implemented. (Z)

This simple form will make your suggestion look more professional and tidy. Preferably you should write a paragraph explaining each X, Y, and Z of your suggestion.
Avoid Doing
  • Lists: They're a great way to remember what groceries to buy, but they're not a good way to give suggestions. Avoid making a list of suggestions with minimal to no details, always make a seperate topic per suggestion, this will help keep discussion focused on that single thing.

  • Attacking people who disagree with you: When you post your suggestion online it will be subject to criticism, provide more points to backup your suggestion and refute critical comments instead of calling names or bringing up something unrelated to attack a commenter.
Additional Tips
  • Provide some concept art of your suggestion if you can, this way the developer has slightly less work to do.
  • Lists are not inherently bad, try to keep it only to a few items that are easily explained in a sentence or two, and don't be vague.
  • Provide scenarios where your suggestion would be used/useful in.
  • Think about whether or not your suggestion makes sense in the world of Unturned.
  • Try not to suggest something that is blatantly from another game, give it as few similarities as possible.
  • Explain in detail every aspect of your suggestion.
Example Suggestion

New Weapon Suggestion: Guitar
It's a weak wooden common civilian weapon. While equipped holding C will allow you to select between various small song to play, this would be great for roleplay and enjoyable in general.
It can also be crafted into 1 Wire, and is repaired with 3 Wire.

(Notice: This is mostly optional,
but it'd be neat for it to have a use outside roleplay.
)
While a song is playing, you and allies near you recieve a small bonus in one attribute. Playing a slow and gentle song will give off a very small health regen buff, about as fast as having full hunger and thirst, playing a fast and harsh song will give a 5% melee damage buff, etc.

Attacking with the Guitar or switching to another weapon will stop the song and bonus.
The downside of having these bonuses? The songs can be heard from quite a distance and may not be appropriate for sneakily raiding a base, it will obviously attract zombies as well.

Playing a lot songs or attacking with the Guitar will damage it severely, so it needs repairs often or it's effects will weaken as the Guitar does or not even work if the Guitar is at 0% durability.

I'm suggesting this because Unturned is so quiet, this suggestion was also inspired by the bandits in STALKER and bard rpg class.
What do you think of this new weapon tool idea?
