This was back when we ran a Minecraft server in a pretty old Minecraft version. Sometimes we would have an event where we would spawn a piller of misc semi-rare blocks, and all the players would fight themselves to try to get them. (Especially sponge was very rare back then, but so was clay in that Minecraft version, so bricks were valuable too!)
