First of all you need savegame files. I have uploaded a *.rar file which contains about 28 savegames throughout the game. For extracting the file you need WinRAR. If you don´t have this software yet you can download it at:

Next step is to download my savegames. You can download it

OK you downloaded my savegames right away and have a file named obscuresavegames.rar lying on your desktop or download folder or somewhere on your PC.

When you open the file you will be shown 3 folders numbered.

- 1-10
- 11-21
- 22-32

These are my 32 savegames which I had to split into 10 saves each as the game only offers 10 savegame slots.

Just click on one of the numbers and open the next subfolder saves... then WinRAR should look like this:


extract the *.sav files to the Obscure userdata folder. I am not sure if the userdata numbers are different but the appdata number should be the same... when you found the right folders just extract the files into the "remote" directory.


If you already had savegames created WinRAR will ask you to overwrite the file. If this is the case you know at least you picked the correct folder :) Here is a screenshot of the directory three it shows on my PC. Yours should look similar.


So you did it. Just start the game and the savegames should available when you select "load game"
