We all have to fight Toriel one way or another. Make it easy by spamming [MERCY] and *Spare and it doesn't matter how low your HP (hit poodles) get, because below 4 HP, she starts purposefully missing. That lets you SPARE her without worry. Of course, there is the turn where you get down to 3 or less, where she can still get you to zero.

When Papyrus's 'normal attack' comes into play (cool dude, skateboarding bone, annoying dog w/the special attack) when the large amounts of bones appear, you can actually float uver them all, gaining a temporary zero-gravity mega-jump!
Keep in mind sans's advice: don't move through the blue attacks. think of a blue stop sign.
Keep in mind that you still have to [ACT] *Flirt at least 3 times in the battle. After that, you should be friends with THE COOLEST DUDE IN THE UNDERGROUND! NYEH-HEH-HEH!
