5 tips for new players
UnReal World is one of my favourite survival games, but it's also extremely deep so and has a steep learning curve. I made this video containing five tips for new players, in order to help new players get their bearings with the game. I am of course aware that not everyone likes videos, so I also include a written synopsis below.

Hope it's useful!

1) Cord is used for many things in the game, and getting it might be easier than you think! You can actually rip your clothes apart to get some early chord, for example to make an axe or tie a raft together. To do this, first take off the piece of clothing you want to rip up, otherwise you cannot use it. Don't do it too often otherwise the piece of clothing doesn't offer any protection anymore.

2) The game is quite a deep simulation, and weight plays an important role. If you do physical demanding tasks such as swimming or climbing, make sure to first drop your equipment, otherwise you have a good chance of falling/drowning.

3) Be aware of the 'repeat' command. Let's say you're fishing. Press s for skills, f for fishing, 1 for active fishing and then select your rod. Doing this all the time gets very tedious. You can however, just repeat your last command by pressing R. It also remembers which item you chose, so just doing r->enter will repeat the command. However, if you rest in between, it doesn't remember which item you used.

4) Hunger and nourishment are not the same thing. Hunger influences your physical abilities, while nourishment influences how fast you gain hunger. Take care of this! Make sure you always try to be nourished, otherwise you'll be spending more food than normal in order to keep your hunger bar from being full.

5) ctrl - & ctrl + allow you to zoom in and out. This is especially useful while hunting, so you can keep better track of your prey. This is very useful for example in conjunction with F3, which allows you to check up on the status of your prey (fatigued or not).

7) Lake Reeds are the super food. Grind them into flower for best results.

6: use dogs! dogs can fatigue pray for you, allowing you to club said prey with relatively little effort. dogs can subsist solely on rotten meat and bones that would have otherwise gone to waste. dogs can distract enemies(njerps, robbers, and bears) so that you can walk around and hit said enemy in the back of the head- enemies cannot dodge, block, or counter attack if you are outside of their feild of vision.
