Oof, that was a long time ago, so can't remember for sure, But quick googling shows this:
in console, type: bind KEY "host_timescale X" ( KEY being any key you want, and X being the speed you want to set, for example 0.2 will make everything five times slower, 1 is normal speed, etc.)
You can also use
bind KEY "toggle host_timescale .2 1" if you want the same KEY to toggle slow motion and normal speed.
I think you first need to enable console somewhere in the settings, ~ opens it by default.

Hi. Yes, you replace X with a number. 1 would be normal speed. Below 1 is slower (e.g. 0.5 is 1/2 of normal speed), and above one is faster (e.g. 2 is twice the normal speed), IIRC. Good luck!
