As I said, this guide goal is to explain some things that the tutorial doesn't say and that you can learn only playing a lot the game. For the fact that this stuff is useful also at the beginning of your adventure in KAG.
I'll eplain all also using images, forgive my english wich could have some spellings and grammatic errors.

This trick is one of the most useful in KAG, and makes Knight's movement a lot easier, preventing to spend a lot of bombs in useless bombjumps.

This is how it works:

you have to charge a slash, it's not needed a double slash, that's not gonna make you jump even highter.
when slash is ready, jump and immediatly release the shot. That will make you jump 1 tile highter, wich could be crucial in some situations.
It requires timing and a bit of practice to get used to it, but it pays well, preventing you a waste of time and money.

Bombjump is another technique for the Knight's movement abilities.
Sometimes Slashjump isn't enough, so you have to use this type of jump instead.

Here's how it works:
you need to buy a bomb, light it when you're ready. You have to wait 3/4 seconds, put the shield down your feet, drop the bomb and when it blows up jump. With the correct timing you can jump really hight, also dropping on enemies heads.

You can even do it while you're falling just without dropping the bomb and releasing it when it blows up, or do it with 2 bombs lighting the first one, dropping it and light the second one keept in your hands, so you can jump with the first one and do the second bombjump mid-air. But these 2 types of bombjump require a lot of timing, and are not easy for beginners.

these two skills are important if you want to be a good knight.
The first one, the shieldsurf, is really easy to explain and to do.
take your shield down and jump while pressing a or d to decide the direction to take. Keep jumping to keep the surf going. Be aware that the surf doesn't work on water.
The second one is derived from the first, it consists in using the shieldsurf to stun someone going over him. That will stun the guy and also make him fall back, wich could make him fall to death in some maps.

the shieldstun can be countered by pressing S when someone goes on you with the shieldsurf, that will make you dodge the shieldsurf. Preventing you from a horrible death.

This is a archer technique, that all archers should always do. Expecially aflter the update that made mines almost indesctructible for knights.

It's really easy, but it's good to know.
When you're archer and you see an enemy's mine, shoot it, and it'll explode, preventing a poor teammate to die.

So when can you pick up mines?
mines can be picked up when they look like this:
They look like this when they've been recently dropped. After 4 seconds they'll look this way:
Now you'll need an archer to easily get rid of it

Most of new players don't know how the knight shield works against arrows, a charged arrow can stun a shielded knight, making him defensless. so the triple charged shot hits him with 2 arrows because you stun him with one and hit him with two. That's why the charged shot is so powerfull and useful. Remeber though that you need to be close enough to the knight, like, really close.

It's really important to get used to the hooks physics in kag.
It's important to know that if you want to get to some place hight, you must not throw the grapping hook on the edge, instead you must throw it on the floor that you wanna reach. Let me show it to you:

Grapping hook can also be used to run away from a knight while shooting him, just throwing the hook forward you while jumping.

Grapping hook can be used to make good and hurtfull stomps.
When you're midair throw the hook to the ground while on your enemy's head, that will make you land faster and on his head.

Food in kag restores your health, wich is pretty damn useful.
But a new player could think that the only way to have it is buying it. But you're wrong!

In fact there are 3 types of food that you can find in the map:
grain
flowers
and fish

The grain must be picked up, you have to slash the ear of grain and take the grain. Flowers cannot be picked up, but when you walk on them if you're not full health you'll eat it recharging your hps.
So grain cannot be used by archers, if you're against archers break the flowers around, so they won't heal!
Fishes can be used by both classes but they need to be killed before eating them, if you're knight you can kill them with a stab, archers with a low-charged arrow

With water bombs and arrows you can extinguish fire, but also shy away a keg.
That's it, you can throw back to the enemies a keg, is there anything else to know?! Just go and try it!!

We know already that knights can block bombs, so how to prevent that?
When you're facing off a knight and want to use a bomb you need to do 2 things:
first one is to not throw the bomb immidiatly , because the enemy could pick it up and use it; so wait 3/4 seconds before throwing it.
Second thing is, for preventing him to block it, you need to throw the bomb behind him, that requires a bit of throwing skill, but not much.
